This is actually a Mono-Green deck disguised as a Golgari deck disguised as an Abzan deck (theory: what if the Ikoria triomes were meant to be the replacement for the now extinct Tarkir clans? i.e. Indatha instead of Abzan).

I believe too many mutates spoil the broth and Nethroi can get away with being the sole mutate trigger. Graveyard synergies with dredge, mill, and a splash of Kathril keyword soup. I like to imagine that all the (non-human) creatures in my deck as being a part of Nethroi, who both represents the cycle of life and death and stands at the apex. In past builds there were a couple of cards relating to songs which explains the title.
