Nullpriest of Oblivion Discussion

Suggestions ans thoughts regarding your development based on my games and changes so far so far:
Plaguecrafter I found it to be immensely useful against planeswalker-focused decks which I didn't really have an answer to before but is still perfectly fine as a mini sacrification forcer. I just got Graf Reaver from a booster, but I don't know if the targeted removal will do any better. I think not, mostly because most players habe three planeswalkers at most.
I also use Reassembling Skeleton to make my life easier while I haven't found Winding Canyons or Vedalken Orrery yet. Sacking it in loop for two mana a pop to force the enemies to sacrifice is much easier than to try and spare my creatures for the perfect moment. If no sacrifice pact is on the field, it still makes good use of excess mana.
Helm of Possession is also nice to get rid of opponents creatures, or just to pull in more sac fodder that isn't even ours. It's not as cheap as I'd like though and doesnt scale particularly well. I haven't tested how it plays but I think it could work out.
Mind Slash works as a supplememt to sadistic hypnotist and replaced grief for me. I didn't like grief for its high recasting cost, so I put this in and throw cheap stuff at it.
Consider Library of Leng to make the effect of Mindslicer completely irrelevant to you. I saw that you removed the reliquary tower; I did the opposite and additonally play a Thought Vessel. Is there a reason you removed the tower? I think it has no downsides.
For the last part I currently run Nullpriest of Oblivion but consider replacing it with Doomed Necromancer. They're both cheap enough and I like to have yet another cog to protect Liesa (well, or get her back for cheap), as well as fetch stuff that went in the graveyard unprotected.
I really like the Tourach, Dread Cantor you put in, I think I'll get him as well. Not sure if I'm willing to pay the 25 bucks for the Stoneforge Mystic, it doesn't seem powerful enough to me. I also removed Alms Collector and didn't miss him so far.

Pestilent Spirit has the potential to be used and abused in so many ways. It just so happened to have the Menace aspect I was looking for. Thought I would throw in a potential board wipe scenario with it, see if it is viable. Nullpriest of Oblivion is interesting. I like the lifelink aspect to give you a couple extra hit points. It's Kicker ability can come in handy mid-late game. I almost play him like a cheap blocker with this deck. Most of the other Menace based creatures have more P/T attached to them innately. So this guy tends to just sit there and be a deterrent or a throw away blocker, plus life gain.

Np, np. I was working on my own version of menace tribal when I saw your list. I really like the combo of Pestilent Spirit and Blazing Volley. Also I'm curious, how well has Nullpriest of Oblivion worked for you?

I've played a version of this deck since Theros, and it consistently gets to Mythic. I think Demonic Embrace is worth running 4x and Acquisitions Expert could be cut for another lifelinker, perhaps Nullpriest of Oblivion

I like decks like this. It's a lot like the way I like to build.
I will say, though, that I'm not in love with having Archfiend's Vessel or Blood Speaker in there. The former just seems like it is incredibly situationally limited (unless I'm missing something), and the latter is too expensive for what it does. I do get that you want Clerics to feed Taborax, so my recommended replacements would be Priest of Forgotten Gods and Nullpriest of Oblivion .
I might have other ideas, but I'm on a short break from work right now and don't have time to think. I might get back to you on that.

Valentin, Dean of the Vein Flip instead of Nullpriest of Oblivion , cheaper to play with the same keywords while also stopping creatures from staying in the graveyard and potentially making your blockers. You may even play the flip side in this deck so that's added value.
Gurmag Swiftwing is worth considering since you don't have many first strikers.
Unearth is just good

Question: Can Dream Devourer be combined with Nullpriest of Oblivion when I pay the Kicker? Example: the Nullpriest of Oblivion was exiled with foretell and then I play it from there with 2 black mana and 2 colorless (instead of 4) to use its ability and put a card from the graveyard back into the battle field.

Gorbah To answer the first question it is very powerful, as a part of the storm combination you can win immediately if you have 5 mana available Skullclamp or Heirloom Blade in play and Mana Echoes , Phyrexian Altar , 1 mana vampire in your hand, otherwise if you don't have Phyrexian Altar you can probably win the game if you just play mana echoes and it makes it all the way around the table as long Skullclamp or Heirloom Blade + any sac outlet is out.
Entomb is a new inclusion that I'm trying out that you can use to get Oathsworn Vampire to combo, or just get Bloodghast , or if you have Bloodline Necromancer or Nullpriest of Oblivion you can get any vampire you want right into play.
