Maybeboard

Welcome to my Tana and Ardenn enchantress deck! While I'm normally a control player, enchantments are my favourite cards to play with and I wanted to build an aggressively slanted EDH deck using lots of auras. The first version of this deck was a Siona, Captain of the Pyleas deck that was a pretty standard enchantress deck with lots of auras and such. The issue I had with this deck was that it had very little resilience in terms of spot removal and board wipes, and the overall cmc was too high. When Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist was spoiled, I knew I wanted to use him (her?) as a way to manipulate my aura placement so that I didn't put all my eggs in one basket, then could shift them all to my commander during combat for lethal. In terms of partners, there aren't really any great enchantment ones, so I opted for Tana, the Bloodsower because of her synergy with auras in general and the ability to produce an army of tiny blockers so that I could attack freely. Thus, this is my first draft of a somewhat aggressive Naya auras deck that wants to manipulate the placement of auras and be able to bounce back from spot removal and boardwipes.

Major Themes:

  • Aura manipulation

  • Bestow/totem armour so we don't get two-for-oned easily

  • Enchantress effects

  • Token synergies

I'm looking for feedback on anything really. Specifically, and better Sunforger package would be great, as well as ways to increase card draw without slowing down my gameplan. Any cards that are super synergistic would be great, and any weak ones that you believe should be substituted for reliable staples can definitely be removed. However, keep in mind that this deck is supposed to be budget and casual but able to hold its own. Any and all feedback is appreciated, hopefully I'm doing something unique here.
