Hey, you haven't really made a complete deck yet to begin optimizing? Since there's only 14 lands here and you have to know that's not enough lands for a Commander deck?

There's some good ideas here, such as stealing opponent's creatures, attacking with them and then sacing them, but you want more sac outlets for this strategy. Making opponents discard cards is good, but giving an opponent the choice of what card to discard can be problematic for Tariel since opponent is not going to discard a creature. There's some reanimation and lots of recursion here which is good in these colors, but there's few enablers to get your creatures into your graveyard.

Some causal budget deck building advice to get started.

To start add 36 lands, they can be all basic lands to begin, can change some to dual lands later. Have 36 lands so you fill all the spots that are needed for lands and to clearly see how many cards have to be cut for lands. The double faced cards represented as lands here are all terrible cards for the mana cost. Cut them all and replace them with basic lands?

To add more lands next cut all the Pacifism removal? This type of creature removal doesn't interact with Tariel, Reckoner of Souls because it doesn't kill opponent's creature putting it into opponent's graveyard. If you want to utilize Tariel's ability then your opponent's creatures have to be put into graveyards, not exiled or stuck on the battlefield unable to attack or block.

The next cards to cut to add more lands are the high mana cost creatures who don't do enough for Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. Tariel is the high mana cost spell you want to cast more than the rest, the other spells played should have some interaction with him or interact with opponent's creature in some way such as In Garruk's Wake. Keep Wake, cut the rest?

Cards to cut last are some that just aren't doing enough for the mana cost and don't have any interaction with Tariel, Reckoner of Souls or the other strategies being played.

All these cuts make enough spots for 36 lands. When you have enough lands then you can begin to optimize the rest of your deck. Good luck.

where does it end?

Mob Mentality is making things worse.

what about these cards? do people think that i want to Purge the black creatures?

or Rashka the Slayer a fighter who is skilled at killing black creatures.

or Shadowbane it shows a racially black character, and says prevent damage from source, unless its black, then do that and gain that much life cuz its black.

or Enslave what if i cast this targeting a black creature? "I Enslave your black creature!"

or Choking Restraints with the george floyd and shaver and many other incidents...

seriously, this is getting ridiculous, and i can find many more cards that could be reached for as racially insensitive.

MaStCu Hahaha, Yes! I would love to tell you how the deck plays, that discription isn't too informative :)!

Step 1: Typically, you try to get out Tallowisp asap, but if you don't think it will survive, wait until you can do both Step 1 and 2 at the same time.

Step 2: Cast a Spirit/Arcane spell, search your library for Mask of Law and Grace . Enchant Tallowisp . Sometimes Inviolability /An Umbra works fine, but only in rare circumstances.

Step 3: Cast a Spirit/Arcane spell, search your library for Shield of Duty and Reason . Enchant Tallowisp . Now that that's done, your Tallowisp has protection from everything except white. (Kill white players first because of that)

Step 4: Look around the table, find the most problematic commander. Cast a Spirit/Arcane, search you library for an answer.

Against Disciple of Deceit , Shackles can work, but sometimes Reprobation is necessary. (Use reprobation sparingly, it's your best enchantment.)

Against a Voltron commander, Asha's Favor does the trick surpisingly well. (Assuming that they have hexproof, otherwise Pacifism works fine.)

Against Aggresive decks, Lifelink + Asha's Favor / Ethereal Armor makes it very hard for them to survive.

If you have Plow Through Reito , search up Empyrial Armor for the OTK.

Step 5: You can mostly just start making the rest of your opponents boards unable to attack, while finding Ethereal Armor . Keep in mind that if you need a cath all answer, Reprobation & Choking Restraints are your best bets.

You can also tutor up cantripping auras to make your spirits draw you a card, and give protection to your opponents creatures to make other auras fall off.

Hope this helps!

I recommend Choking Restraints, Inferno Fist, Ward of Lights,Bound by Moonsilver,Floating Shield.

If you want to try something spicy, try rummaging and wheeling with Planar Birth and Land Tax.

You can probable replace Choking Restraints with Bound by Moonsilver which can give a bit more utility.

I would say to switch them for Choking Restraints
