Things Betor Left Undead [Primer]

I'm excited to see where you go with this, especially as you flesh out your primer some more. Just a few ideas off the top:
-
Vault of the Archangel - Helpful in a pinch if you have the mana for it, but I think has some extra value in this deck as a quick life gain anthem for your board.
-
Serra Ascendant would be a great aggro threat for this deck, if not too on the nose lol.
-
Lunar Convocation - Seems like it could be a decent value fit with everything your deck wants to do.
-
The Gaffer could be a consistent draw piece
-
Celestine, the Living Saint - More Betor redundancy.
-
Witch of the Moors offers some removal and redundancy to Betor.

oh ho! Thou must add Will, Scion of Peace! Can't forget Witch of the Moors with a little bit of Vizkopa Guildmage and a splash of Celestine, the Living Saint Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose

It's not a bad list at all, but if you want to go with vampires plus lifegain subtheme there are better choices of commanders (Astarion, the Decadent, Amalia Benavides Aguirre, Vona, Butcher of Magan, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, and Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher are solid options. There are tons of other good options too).
If you're heart-set on Athreos, I would drop the vampire/lifegain themes and go with creatures that have sac effects (e.g. Westfold Rider, Cathar Commando, Bounty Agent, Priest of Fell Rites, Stronghold Assassin, Necrotic Sliver, Burnished Hart, Dauthi Voidwalker) plus cards with reanimation abilities (e.g. Bishop of Rebirth, Celestine, the Living Saint, Custodi Soulcaller, Redemption Choir, Sun Titan, Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher, Athreos, Shroud-Veiled, Breathkeeper Seraph, Court of Ardenvale, Gift of Immortality).

Updated. Not sure for the better, but for sure plays into the win conditions.
- Utter End -> Detention Sphere : Slower but more enchantments
- Cyclonic Rift -> Swan Song : If I have that kind of mana, I should win the game. Rather have a counter.
- Cathars' Crusade -> Swiftfoot Boots : Let's protect Marneus Calgar, he's kind of important to us
- Flowering of the White Tree -> Lightning Greaves : Let's protect Marneus Calgar, he's kind of important to us
- Glorious Anthem -> Rings of Brighthearth : Let's enable the infinite mana combos
- Inquisitor Greyfax -> Phyrexian Altar : Need this bugger around for consistency of infinite mana combos
- Spear of Heliod -> Pitiless Plunderer : Supports Phyrexian Altar and general ramp.
- Hour of Reckoning -> Training Grounds : Makes combos easier. Helps survive early.
- Celestine, the Living Saint -> Basalt Monolith : Infinite with Rings of Brighthearth
- Reconnaissance Mission -> Mana Drain : Kind of nice counterspell
- Solemn Simulacrum -> Laboratory Maniac : Win condition on draw
- Company Commander -> Mana Crypt : Great ramp
- White Sun's Zenith -> Clever Impersonator : Let's create a backup copy of whatever needs the most redundancy.
- Vanguard Suppressor -> Greater Auramancy : We might as well protect those enchantments
- Commissar Severina Raine -> Propaganda : Too weak a redundant win condition. Let's be consistent here and protect the motherland instead.

Celestine, the Living Saint fits the theme and helps get creatures back into play. Liesa, Forgotten Archangel will help too, but does return them to hand.
Try Plumb the Forbidden in Sign in Bloods slot. Instant speed makes this card a great response to boardwipes and I get the feeling you'll have plenty of life lol.
Debt to the Deathless/Exsanguinate actually fit the theme while giving you some non-combat reach to finish games.
This last one's a bit more expensive, but Sheoldred, the Apocalypse would be amazing here.
