Niv Mizzet and 99 gigawatts is a deck that's a pretty strong blue-based list (at least from my POV) but instead of boring late-game of grinding extra turns and countermagic, it tried to stick a big, flashy finisher, usually a dragon or a big spell like Insurrection. This deck was previously Jhoira of the Ghitu, now redesigned because I got tired of her doing nothing. It's easier to ramp into threats with artifact mana than put them in exile for 4 turns. Not mentioning all the shenanigans the new Eldrazi processors could pull on her. And the insta-hate she gets doesn't make up for enjoyable experience anymore. Go go manasink dragon!
