My take on The Scarab God is a standard control deck that uses creatures in favor of traditional control elements. Cards like Nimble Obstructionist and Dimir Infiltrator can be discarded for their use and externalized later to have a decent threat. Cards like Shriekmaw and Mulldrifter can be evoked and brought back later. I am not sure Tormod's Crypt is needed with how much graveyard hate is built into The Scarab God and may replace it with Training Grounds as it essentially does a similar thing. I will add cards that are spoiled later in the week to the maybeboard and may put some of them in the deck such as Champion of Wits. I did not include any intentional combos as my playgroup discourages them. Please comment any suggestions and questions and I will respond when I can. Any feedback is appreciated and is very helpful as this is my first real control deck.
