This was my first EHD deck and I still love it. It's a tricky, combo-heavy deck that focussed on sacrificing tokens and gaining more value through Teysa's second ability. The idea is to create sac fodder in the for of Black tokens through cards like Sorin, Lord of Innistrad or recurrable black creatures such as Reassembling Skeleton. And because the sac fodder is black, Teysa will create a white spirit, basicly doubling your sac fodder. Then there are a lot of cards that add value when sacrificing your fodder such as Blood Artist, Smothering Abomination and Shadows of the Past that make this deck truly go off. If you have multiple of these you usually are well on your way to win the game, as it draws your cards, gains you life, makes opponents lose life and basicly everything else you need.

I also run a decent amount of targeted removel (Necrotic Sliver, Utter End), eventhough it is in Teysa's first ability. I run these because I want the deck to outrace other decks, both by being fast itself, but also by cripling other decks a lot.

The cards in the sideboard are there to crank up the deck. It levels it from a good deck to a very strong deck, especially Darkest Hour
