This is my try on a Tasigur build.

I have played the deck for over two years already and changed it from a GB pure value control list to a strange group-hug-like form (with ramp for everyone - and many sweeper effects). For now I am back to the classical control style list. The group ramp did backfire way too often, so I prefer to only ramp myself. I try to include cards from new sets, as far as I can get my hands on them, since I'm not so much a limited player.

Deckbuilding houserules Show

My Playgroup has three categories for deckbuilding:

CT (Combo+Tutor): means all cards are allowed

T (Tutor): Excludes "combos". This is more or less meaning decks should not be able to end a game in a single turn, if they have some specific cards together.

F (Fair): Excludes "combos" and tutors. Basic land tutors are allowed, but every other tutor is prohibited. Mass/multi land destruction is banned by houserules in F decks.

Decktype: F Show

This deck is an F type, so do not suggest any tutors or combos please.

Tasigur's activated ability abuses the F format. The opponent with the weakest spot on board needs specific handling/removal and is always your favorite target for the ability. This way you mostly get the spell you want.
Another strong spot for this deck is the absence of mass/multi land destruction. This deck is extremely mana thirsty and has tons of ramp spells. But by format definition you are save to build a huge manabase (of mostly Forest and Swamp)
