My commander is Nissa, Vastwood Seer  . My local meta call her and her flipping colleagues "Rookie Cards."

The flavor of the deck in a nutshell is Battle for Zendikar. Elves and other mean greens combined with Eldrazi continue to advance board state mostly every turn.

Card choices give weight to card advantage, landfall, or solutions to problems created by other people. Personally this a good deck to lever up or down your power level in respect to your opponents.

Boseiju, Who Shelters All makes sure your few non permanents resolve.

The deck is light in Sorceries and Instants by design because of Primal Surge and Genesis Wave. Ideally this deck will Surge for 20+ cards which will include one of the two haste giving cards Concordant Crossroads and Akroma's Memorial with Dosan the Fallen Leaf shutting off most interaction stopping you from killing the table with Craterhoof Behemoth, Siege Behemoth, Kamahl, Fist of Krosa or Thunderfoot Baloth with a team of Green and Eldrazi creatures.

Watch out for Torpor Orb. Solve this card before you cast Genesis Wave or Primal Surge. Viridian Zealout is your only solution that is NOT an enter the battlefield or cast trigger.

Planar Portal gets you Primal Surge or Genesis Wave or your other non permanent spells.

This deck only have 4 reset buttons- The Great Aurora, All Is Dust, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Oblivion Stone. Make them count.

Rookie Nissa after the beginning of the game becomes "Cast your Commander, fetch a forest, play said forest, Coiling Oracle trigger." She has draws some hate away from your life total as well.
