Creature — Elemental
When Silverglade Elemental enters the battlefield, you may search your library for a Forest card and put that card into play. If you do, shuffle your library.

Silverglade Elemental Discussion

I would strongly reccommend decreasing creatures/elementals in favor of more dedicated ramp like Khalni Heart Expedition , Harrow , Kodama's Reach , Sakura-Tribe Elder and Myriad Landscape . In my experience if you can cast Omnath and then focus on triggering landfall you'll assemble a board state quickly. In terms of card draw Elemental Bond , Life's Legacy and Greater Good are incredible with those 5/5 elementals. Because Omnath is such an expensive general playing Swiftfoot Boots would probably help.
I would recommend replacing high cmc creatures like Bloodpyre Elemental , Silverglade Elemental , and Hearthcage Giant to speed up the deck. I'd also look at replacing cards like Pilgrim's Eye , Crater Elemental , Fire Shrine Keeper , Cinder Elemental , and Catalyst Elemental as they don't really have payoff without lots of mana or omnath, in which case ramping into a 5/5 seems better

Hey VexenX, I love Burgeoning in the deck, it is almost if not the best turn 1 play we can have I would be very reluctant to cut it. If you're not seeing the value then of course do what works best with your play style.
In regards utility creatures there are a few I have tested, as mentioned
is a great Splendid reclaimation on stick, I rarely used it for the attack trigger and it normally got a bolt from
Omnath, Locus of Rage
or sacrificed to one of our many outlets, comboing this with
Titania, Protector of Argoth
Omnath, Locus of Rage
on the field is explosive. Other creatures I like but can't find space for are
, a creature + sac outlet and card draw on a body,
Green Sun's Zenith
Chord of Calling
this guy out when your sac outlets have been removed or countered to finish of a player second main phase, remember it is a may ability so can still keep enough tokens out for defense if needs be. The other option which is slightly less value but more reliable and cheaper CMC is
, this doesn't have the card draw but is an instant speed sac outlet. If I could find a space for one of them I'd include them but I haven't been able to justify the slot yet. There is also
, I used to run the latter and use it as a
I would typically do the same with
keeping an uncracked fetch in play so I can find the
when it's time to cast
or if you need a blocker at a push.
Some food for thought..

Embodiment of Fury + Embodiment of Insight
Furnace of Rath to replace Gratuitous Violence for mana efficiency

Love the concept! gota couple suggestions, figured I'll accordian them to keep from filling up the whole page.
Predator, Flagship is costly, but lets be honest - mono-green doesn't care about that. giving flight for troops to evade or block, anti-aircraft cannons, and the tractor beam to lift up enemy ground-pounders, this colorless removal engine is worth evey mana spent on it.
Arena + Combat step: Declare attackers. Before blockers, activate arena, Choosing one of your tapped attacking creatures. the creature picks a fight before blockers, potentially giving a 2-1 for you if they block afterwards, but otherwise taking out a blocker and still getting all their damage through.
Genesis is amazing for recusion, if that's your thing (I know it's mine, but not everyone elses), and it's a 3 drop if you hard cast it with Her fluffiness on the field.
Trolls of Tel-Jilad offers regen for your forces (or allies, in exchange for favors...)
Krosan warchief acts like a mini trolls of T-J for beasts, and reduces their cost as well. more a niche card, but worth mentioning if you end up going that route.
Weatherseed Treefolk is fragile, but returns to hand when killed.
Phytotitan is even more fragile, but returns for free
Masked Admirers is a card drawing chump blocker. while it doesn't get the cost reduction, it definatly will dish out the damage over a game with trades. and the card draw for ETB is icing on the cake.
Gurzigost is a wierd huge guy that smashes face, all for the low low cost of ... recycling your graveyard. oh no... /endsarcasm
Ulvenwald Hydra grows based on your land base, and fetches a land as an etb trigger. added bonus: has reach to deal with fliers.
Oran-Reif Hydra grows to monstrous sizes as the game progresses. not all that exciting, but cheap ($ wise)
Dungrove Elder is completely worth the G mana cost once you hit 4 lands, and will only get bigger as the game goes on.
Terra Stomper , Carnage Tyrant , Chameleon Colossus , Kodama of the North Tree , Kalonian Behemoth , Gaea's Revenge , and Ancient Ooze just do what they normally do with efficiency: smash. they aren't pretty or fancy, but they are cost efficient before your general's discount, so they smash hard for cheap.
Skysnare Spider has the two most important keywords for green multiplayer: vilgilance and reach
Hydra Omnivore lets you get damage through defenses of players by ignoring that player entirely and focusing elswhere.
Indrik Stomphowler and Conclave Naturalists might be good replacements for reclaimation sage, with you commander out they cost the same. Destructor Dragon acts the same on death, but hits planeswalkers and lands as well.
Woodfall Primus is a solid (abet later game) removal that returns to work again.
World Breaker acts as an exile, and is colorless to boot. added benefits are reach and recurrable.
Wickerbough Elder gets the cost reduction, despite being a 3/3 base when cast.
Wolfbriar Elemental lets you dump green into a token army of 2/2s if you need to spread out the love or create some chump blockers. quantity has it's own quality sometimes.
Vorapede is a undying buggy with vigilance for 3 when your general is out
Thornling is a solid all-round stomper that is hard to deal with, via indistructable and increasable toughness.
Thrun, the Last Troll is another hard to deal with threat: hexproof, uncounterable, and regenerate means not a whole lot can touch him.
Spearbreaker Behemoth can act as a duribility booster by giving indistructibility
Krosan Drover is a good card for the really expensive creatures, giving another cost reduction.
Ulvenwald Observer is a solid card-draw engine for the deck when things die
Nessian Game Warden lets you sift through your deck based on forests in play
Brooding Saurian is typically just a sideboard card against control matchups, but worth mentioning all the same.
Stone-Tongue Basilisk is a cheap ($ wise) little guy that can field-wipe an opponent if you time a swing right.
Kamahl, Fist of Krosa should go in every green deck that he can. this goes double for mono-green. Overrun as an repeatable instant? check. wrath countermeasures? Living Plane that only hits opponents for G per land. totally worth it.

Hello RARoberts, this is London Calling.
Ditch Spoils of Victory and Sever the Bloodline, perhaps replace with good old fashioned spot removal. Deprive is probably a) not right with double , and I'm not sure I'd have a single counterspell - Swords to plowshares might be a bit techy, perhaps just a Doom Blade is okay?
Unclaimed Territory should go in says Joe.
Basically (last thing) if you are playing for Threshold you want a lot more self-mill. It'll take ages to get 7 cards in GY with an average CMC of 3.?, so either can the threshold idea (I don't think you need it!) or build around it specifically.

ibstudent2200 A lot of the Omnath Turn 2 Plays I ended up drawing late in the game when they were dead draws and that's the only reason they aren't in the deck. When I started out things like Elvish Mystic were in the deck but again, I found them to be dead draws later on.
Rancor was in the deck for a looooong while but then I got my hands on Whispersilk Cloak and that was the replacement. I've considered dropping Rancor back in for a while though, I might actually do it.
I didn't realize Frontier Siege was both main phases or else I would have bought this the day it came out. I think out of the three here Selvala, Heart of the Wilds is my favorite. I might have to see if anyone I know has one laying around. Doubling Cube has always been a huge option, the only reason it hasn't been a purchase recently was because money got tight. It is definitely still on my list though.
Silverglade Elemental was a drop in back when I first built the deck, but I just haven't found anything to replace it with yet, so that's the only reason its still in. I might drop it for Selvala, Heart of the Wilds if I can find one.
I agree on the Drove of Elves, again it was one of those cards that I dropped in during the beginning of my building and just never found a replacement for. Do you have a creature you would recommend filling this spot with?
Thorn Elemental ... This card was just for memories, because it was my first ever foil and I kept it for so long, but it needs to be retired. Maybe drop Rancor in its place?
Nessian Wilds Ravager was in for a removal card, or just to have a big dude. Prey Upon would be a much better replacement, but I was kind of hoping to have a big dude with it, which is why Ravager was still in
Viridian Emissary was in because he was a 2/1 for 2 that made opponents hesitate before attacking turn 2 for fear of giving an extra mana. But being able to sac Sakura-Tribe Elder in the event of something like a ping works as well, I suppose, which does make him better. Very valid point
I agree with the Enlarge drop, and Ezuri's Predation would be an amazing replacement, however Revenge of the Hunted allows Omanth to hit directly as everything else has to block something smaller like Sakura-Tribe Elder for example.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback!
