This is an EDH/ Commander Decklist for Rakdos, Lord of Riots.

The idea is to have Rakdos out consistently by turn 4 so you can start dropping threats. To achieve this the deck contains cards such as Lobber Crew, Staggershock, and other sources of damage with 3 or less CMC that can hit on turn 4 allowing you cast Rakdos. Once damage has been dealt to your opponent(s) you want to be sure that you have the right color and quantity of mana to be able to pay for your commander. Mana rocks that provide colored mana instead of colorless with CMC 3 or less are also utilized such as Charcoal Diamond, Coldsteel Heart, and Darksteel Ingot.

Cryptolith Fragment   is great for both life loss and color fixing. I have also tried to keep the number of lands that only provide colorless mana to a minimum.

Turn 5+ is all about dropping free fatties such as Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger / Blightsteel Colossus and refilling your hand with Knollspine Dragon, Sandstone Oracle, and Wheel of Fortune.
