It's like a control deck that isn't trying to be oppressive(most of the time, anyways[that's a lie and you know it])

..:NEW MANAGEMENT:..Baral, Chief of Compliance fit right into this deck with ease. Paradox Engine, so far, has been an absolute beast of a card. I mean, it's just disgusting. Early testing of that card has forced me to shift gears in my strategy quite a bit. Chaining cantrips and mana rocks with Paradox Engine is an amazing mana generator and general pain in the ass to deal with. Will update as I go at this point...

This has become my main EDH deck, enough so that I can make a decent description of what it is exactly I'm trying to do with it.

The biggest hurdle this deck faces is: not dying immediately. That's it. Other players usually start swinging at me because I don't have a lot of creatures and the thought of not having a hand is scary. Completely understandable. Typically, if I can not die from commander damage(boring) or beat downs from small creatures(lame) in the first 7-8 turns, I'm in good shape to do degenerate things.

Unwinding Clock+any number of mana rocks = oppression engine. Being able to generate stupid amounts of mana every turn is absurd, and being able to buyback a Capsize while clearing threats is mean.

High Tide or Deadeye Navigator+Palinchron = infinite mana. What am I going to do with all of that mana you ask? Well, I could capsize the whole board with Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur out, which typically results in scoop phase for remaining players. Or, I can force players to draw their libraries with Stroke of Genius, Blue Sun's Zenith, or Braingeyser. I have had to Stroke or BSZ myself to draw my library to get my wincons, but it happens.

Psychosis Crawler+Consecrated Sphinx=passive damage engine. I can pair it up with Standstill to draw 18 and deal 18, which is always fun.

Relic Bind +Basalt Monolith= fourth edition errata gutted the power of this card....

Other card considerations:

Mana Severence. Once I get 8-12 blue mana lands, I don't need the other 10 or so. Unless somebody decides to be a jerk and play Choke or Boil, this would help me thin the deck to get to my combo pieces faster.

Cards I want to be unbanned:

Tolarian Academy and Tinker. I don't think I'd have any friends afterwards
