Note on my meta - We're an attack heavy & mid-to-low disruption group that plays at a pub with drinks. Games are pretty quick and explosive. Good players but ultimately pretty casual in playstyle.

Hello! I like to build and pilot decks that make big, punchy plays using niche or underplayed cards.

This deck's theme is CMC Matters. The goal is to play out high-cost threats supported by cards that care about high costs.

The interaction that inspired this deck came from some of my favorite cards from classic Ravnica & Kamigawa:
1. Cast Grozoth
2. Fetch Myojin of Life's Web along with every 9-cost card in the deck.
3. Cast the Myojin.
4. Remove the divinity counter and drop your hand!

Yes - this combo is super janky and requires 18 mana. It can be a little easier with Fist of Suns, but I still go for it even if I can't do it in one go. Even then, it's really interactable.

Here are a few of my favorite interactions:
- Hedron Matrix makes things really big and turns Reaper King into a real beefcake.
- Favor of the Mighty is a super strong jank enchantment. I love it.
- Blast of Genius and Vengeful Rebirth make for some hilarious reach. Yes, I have scored a knockout using Draco.

Things this deck doesn't want to do (mostly because I said so):
- do anything infinite. Yes, I have Basalt Monolith. No, I do not intend to go infinite.
- go full reanimator
- play more eldrazi
