Forced March Discussion

For mass removal, no. For single target removal, there are better single target removal. Abhorrent overlord is fine for late game but Eater is not good enough IMO for late game combos
here's an article for you if you want more options:

Ok, changes made: In Garruk's Wake in, Forced March out. Palace Siege in, Macabre Waltz out. Liliana of the Dark Realms, Dread, and Graveborn Muse are in, and out go Death Denied, Dutiful Return, and Foul Renewal. Lands in are Vesuva and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for Subterranean Hangar and a Swamp.
That's where Volrath stands for now. I think I will be adding a Thespian's Stage in the future, as well, and I will keep looking into the other suggestions the more I play it and see how it works out. I hope that I haven't pushed my mana curve too high for it to be consistent.
If you think I should have subbed something different, please offer up more suggestions!

Helldozer is slow, but if he comes online he seems legit. you'll probably need to test him out in your meta.
Scourge of Nel Toth is just too expensive for my taste, but hey he is a flyin' Zombie..I could see it getting cut in favor of a more efficient card.
Diabolic Tutormy least favorite tutor, should be replaced by a more efficient one, like Vampiric TutorDemonic TutorBeseech the QueenRune-Scarred Demonor any other one. There are probably 8 more I can't think of right now. BtQ being one of the budget option.
that should give you some options to trade for. I would also check out the other Gisa lists on EDHREC for ideas, she is a very popular commander. Have Fun :)

Ok, updates coming. I've placed a card order, and this is what I have coming in:Dread, Graveborn Muse, Liliana of the Dark Realms, In Garruk's Wake, Palace Siege, and two good lands, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Vesuva. I decided to splurge just a little bit in the hopes of pushing this deck's performance up. I've always liked playing black, and Volrath is a lot of fun as a commander, so I'm going to make it worth while.
The lands will be easy to sub in, but the others I will take any suggestions on. In Garruk's Wake will take the place of Forced March. I'm thinking Gravedigger might get cut as well, as I have more than enough graveyard bounce spells, I think.
Comments and suggestions are welcome, please!

Vermutlich lohnt es sich eine Toolbox reinzuwerfen, da du nach cmc-3-spells tutorn kannst.
Optionen beinhalten:Flaying Tendrils: gegen weite Strategien.

I recommend Vandalblast, Paraselene or Back to Nature, Do or Die, Crypt Incursion, Metal Fatigue, Day of Judgment and maby Flaying Tendrils or Forced March. Polymorphist's Jest is funny and kinda sorta almost wrath-y. also Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse.
also Damnation if you want to shell out the money.

Nice deck, seems like a lot of fun to surprise people with how you're using the commander!
Some possible cards that use CMC: Accelerated Mutation, Bounteous Kirin, Cabal Conditioning, Consume the Meek, Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Fierce Empath, Forced March, Gaze of Granite, Hoarder's Greed, Krosan Drover, Living Destiny, Necroplasm, Recross the Paths, Seasons Past, Wave of Terror, and Woodland Guidance.

Nice, I like seeing Cao Cao as a commander.
I'm kind of surprised to not see Syphon Mind here. Wit's End is kind of janky, but some decks will be able to outdraw you faster than you can nail them with a Mind Twist (and since you nearly always Mind Twist someone for their whole hand anyway, Wit's End is sometimes more efficient. Plus it's not dead with Sins of the Past, but that's another card you can take or leave.)
Biting Rain, Massacre and Drown in Sorrow (and maybe also Languish) all seem kind of weak; some better options for board wipes might be Forced March, Killing Wave, Toxic Deluge or Deadly Tempest (or Damnation if you're willing to spend the money).
It might be worthwhile to run a couple untap effects to get more out of Cao Cao. Thousand-Year Elixir is the best one, and Puppet Strings can also be used to tap your opponents' big scary guys. Probably best to just run one though, since Cao Cao is your only creature.
Maybe also cut Disrupting Scepter for Sol Ring, since you have Scepter of Fugue anyway.
