Mill theme: Meren practically tutors each turn with a graveyard stocked by Mesmeric Orb, Stinkweed Imp, and Angel of Suffering. World Shaper can ramp suddenly. Loaming Shaman can restock graveyard, if necessary, with instants, sorceries, and artifacts.

Proliferate theme: Mostly for experience counters, but Garruk only needs one proliferate to ult on his first turn.

Tokens theme: Play out many tokens with Abhorrent Overlord, Kessig Cagebreakers, and Izoni. Overrun, or sacrifice them for value and to drain lives.

Control theme: Pestilence and forced sacrifice keep the board clear of creatures. Sacrifice Faceless Butcher before his ability resolves to permanently exile troublesome creatures. Mindslicer strips grips. Reclamation Sage and Acidic Slime remove problematic enchantments and artifacts.
