This has been a work of progress of mine for the better part of a year. Every card supports the "Dungeons & Dragon" theme, and I will often just call it my "D&D Deck." This deck tells the story of our character, Kresh the Bloodbraided, and his party as they track down an evil necromancer that has been causing chaos. There are a few "side quests," per say, but follows an overall story line. The deck plays the fun theme, but it is also quite competitive, and does win games every once in awhile! This deck is my baby, and it's the reason I love Magic. You can come up with an idea, develop it, and enjoy it when all is said and done. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as me! Below is the campaign that I've come up with for the deck, enjoy!

Party Members: Kresh the Bloodbraided (Human Warrior), Melira, Sylvok Outcast (Human Scout), Feldon of the Third Path (Human Artificer), Yisan Chord (Human Bard).

"Our character, Kresh, begins his journey with a Bloodforged Battle-Axe, Melira has her Lightning Greaves, and Feldon has a powerful Sol Ring, Yisan is left with his magical instruments. The party members are gathered in a local tavern by a renowned Veteran Explorer who has heard word of an encroaching evil upon their homeland. The party first encounters a group of Backwoods Survivalists that suggest the Traverse the Ulvenwald Forest to search for clues about the growing evil. In a cabin at the edge of the woods, they meet a duo of hunters (Obsessive Skinner and a Grim Flayer) who suggest they turn back while they can. Not fearing danger, they push forward, but quickly sense that there are Lurking Predators just outside of eyesight. Suddenly, they're attacked by an armada of spiders (Arachnogenesis) led by a deadly Acidic Slime. Melira is able to Cultivate the land around them to foster a Khalni Garden that buys them enough time to escape the forest unscathed. Just outside of the forest, they run into a camp (Akoum Refuge) at the base of a great tower (Reliquary Tower). Another friendly party (Den Protector, Eternal Witness, Borderland Ranger, and Solemn Simulacrum) informs them that a great shaman lives in the tower, and that he is the Master of the Wild Hunt. His hunting wolves have been captured, and the group camped out have been unable to defeat the captors. Our party takes a Gamble on whether or not to help them, and end up helping them track the captors to a small chunk of land that they're operating from. With the enlisted help of some mercenaries (Kessig Cagebreakers), our party is able to retrieve the wolves from the Huntmaster of the Fells  . After farewells, our party moves onto the Karplusan Forest where they Struggle / Survive amongst the fierce Kessig Wolves (Kessig Wolf Run) in the area. Lost and desperate for help, they see the giant arm of a god reaching out of the earth (Kodama's Reach). This god reveals herself to be Nylea, God of the Hunt, and mistakes Yisan for one of the wolf captors. She casts a spell (Chaos Warp) and turns Yisan into an aging troll, unable to speak or communicate with the party (Thrun, the Last Troll). Unable to change him back, the group moves on further into the forest. In his growing depression, Yisan eventually give in to a life of Asceticism and leaves in the night, not wanting to worry anyone else in the party. The group wakes to find Yisan gone and quickly packs up to go after him.

The party finds an Orcish Lumberjack working in the woods and asks him for assistance in finding their lost friend. He points them in the direction of a Treetop Village where a wise Elf may be able to assist them. In reaching the village, they meet the Elf known as the Gamekeeper, who reveals that he had found their friend in very rough condition. He is caring for Yisan, but first he needs to cast a spell on him (Beast Within) in order to make the troll essence in Yisan's separate with the human form. The spell is successful, and the party stays the night with the Gamekeeper before making their way into the Llanowar Wastes in the morning. There, they find a rotting corpse (Deathcap Cultivator) and wonder what to do with it. During their discussion, a pair of Corpse Traders arrive and inform the party that they'll be taking the body, and inform the party that they can lend them a ride into the city for finding such an exemplary specimen for them. They arrive in the capital city of their land, and pass by a Thespian's Stage that is reenacting an ongoing conflict. Amid rumors of war, the third act of The Absolution of the Guildpact was quickly rewritten as a tragedy. While in town, the Corpse Traders recommended they go see the traveling circus. They enter the Rakdos Carnarium just as the Merciless Executioner yells for Curtains' Call. Just before the party is able to intervene, an Elf shaman (Reclamation Sage)is sent flying from the outside, through the side of the carnival tent. The tent is Decimated by an Ogre Resister and the party quickly joins in the fight. It appears as though there's been an attack on the city, but the attackers merely Pillage the city in favor of saving people or architecture. A pair of Elf twins (Fierce Empath & Bloodbraid Elf) are spotted in the distance, orchestrating the massacre. The Hunted Horrors, Hunted Troll, and even a Hunted Dragon are quickly taken out by the party, and they are able to interrogate the Elf siblings to see where they were sent from. They were told by the Elves that they had merely been put under a trance, and that they had in fact died years ago. Upon closer inspection, both of their bodies showed sign of rot and decay. The party was told by the pair to travel to the Rugged Highlands outside the city and look for an Ainok Surivivalist and Sakura-Tribe Elder who could point them in the right direction. That duo pointed them in the direction of the old capital city, the one that had been devastated by the ongoing war. The outskirts of the city (Burgeoning) were the best kept, but as they got closer to the city center it began to look like somethings Stomping grounds. When they reached the worst part of the crumbling city (Gruul Turf), they ran into a Tomb Robber from far off. He suggested that since they're after the same thing, he can take them across the river (Demonic Tutor) to where the hieroglyphics pointed to (Ancient Craving). In the center of a vast underground room (Golgari Rot Farm), they found an ancient Birthing Pod that looked to still be in working order. From the shadows, a vile Beast Whisperer revealed himself and cast a powerful spell Tooth and Nail to try to vanquish our party. When the spell fizzled with a response from one of Yisan's powerful songs, the Beast Whisperer instead gave the Tomb Robber a choice (Yawgmoth's Vile Offering). He could keep the rare Birthing Pod for himself, but only if he turned on the party and allowed himself to be transformed into a more powerful form. Unable to resist the eventual payday, the Tomb Robber agrees and is transformed into a powerful being with Planswalking capabilities (Garruk Relentless). In a lengthy struggle, the party is able to defeat him and question the Beast Whisperer, who informs them that he is not the powerful necromancer who summoned the Elf twins, he was merely a pawn. He sent them where he came from, a Jungle Hollow that could lead them back to the necromancer. They finish off the Beast Whisperer, and carry on to their own final act.

Once through the hollow, they reach the Wooded Foothills of the dreaded Savage Lands where the necromancer could be found. Upon reaching her lair, the necromancer introduces herself as Meren of Clan Nel Toth, who wishes to wreak havoc on the living world in order to command of army of undead servants. Impressed by their ability to reach her, she Exhumes two powerful beasts (Woodland Bellower & Ulvenwald Hydra) to stop our party. With little effort, those beasts are eliminated and she casts the spell once again. The ground shakes and rumbles, and outside a gargantuan and undead Worldspine Wurm begins to go after the members of our party. Feldon is able to resurrect the Ulvenwald Hydra with help from his tinkering machines, and the party is eventually able to defeat the powerful Wurm, only to have it split into three smaller and weaker versions. Kresh, Melira, and Feldon each destroy one with help from Yisan's powerful melodies. With the Momentous Fall of the undead beasts, Meren begins to fell her power fade, eventually turning to a pile of ash which is captured and bottled by the party members, ready to be spread to the far corners of their world. The party is forced to Traverse the Outlands surrounding the Savage Lands in order to find their way back home. Upon passing the Treetop Village where they met the Gamekeeper, a new structure has risen in it's place (Command Tower). When they enter, they are greeted by the Gamekeeper who gifts upon each of them a Commander's Sphere. He explains that, should the need ever arise again, each member of the party could use their Commander Sphere to call upon their own armies of powerful beings and spells to help them in their great fight. With many thanks' exchanged, Kresh, Melira, Feldon, and Yisan finally return to the tavern in their hometown where the Veteran Explorer happily awaited renditions of their epic tales. Many months after their great adventure, you can find any one of the party members exploring the Unknown Shores that their world has to offer.
