It's not CEDH, but Damn, Vial Smasher & Thrasios

Commander / EDH* Spellslinger UBRG Value Engine

This version of Vial Smasher/Thrasios started out as copy of Josh Lee Kwai's from Episode 2 of Game Knights. I have made some small changes over time, but at it's core, it is still very similar.

While not CEDH by any stretch, the deck is very strong for most casual tables, and you can definitely accidentally pub-stomp players who claim their decks are 7-8 in power, but have overestimated their power level. It is very important that you announce to new players that you are not CEDH, and have no infinite combos, this will eliminate some early aggression that the deck can receive when people see Smasher/Thasios in the zone. There is a real fear that you will use Thrasios to draw your whole deck and win via, Thassa's Oracle or Lab Man.

You begin games simply enough, play Vial Smasher turn 2-3, and then ramp like it's nobody's business. In most games the early damage is small enough, that nobody seems to mind. In the late game, you will start taking extra turns, or casting spells on your opponents turns via Leyline or Orrery. The deck basically just rewards you for playing Magic by killing your opponents.

If you start to run out of gas, Thrasios can refill your hand. If you have ramped hard, it is normal for Thrasios to draw you 2-3 cards every round of the table. If Seedborn Muse or Training Grounds are out, then this can get out of hand in a single turn of the table.

This is the most fun deck I have ever played, and can easily hang with some of the most power decks in Casual Commander. I strongly encourage you to give it a try.
