Head-Ass Superfriends

Commander / EDH*

DaveyCrickett

Yeah. I get it. Urza's not a commander. Don't get your panties in a twist. I guess Jodah can sit in if y'all are bein' bitches.

I decided to add in some questionable cards, so here's an explanation of some of our greatest hits.

Ajani Steadfast: Although his +1 isn't THAT good for us, he still ticks up our other walkers, getting closer to game-winning ultimates a lot sooner.

Garruk, Apex Predator: He can just lock planeswalkers down for our opponents, he creates relevant tokens, and can really take care of a lot of pesky threats other cards can't. These threats include planeswalkers, creatures, and opponents!

Jace, Unraveler of Secrets: Since our goal is to ramp and color fix early, Jace is one of the best card advantage engines in our entire deck, and Unraveler of Secrets is the best ones that doesn't cost $90+

Jaya Ballard: She can help pay for expensive spells, loot away some dead cards, but most importantly, you can flash back Urza's Big Ol' Blast if you get to 8 Loyalty!

Koth of the Hammer: He's pretty much the reason we run both Chromatic Lantern and Prismatic Omen. The value he provides under those circumstances more than justifies his place in the deck. Just beware that he can be a dead draw at times.

Nissa, Steward of Elements: Her 0 can get you some good value, but her scry and -6 is why we play her. If we need big creatures that fly and hit hard, or we just need 2 lands untapped, she's our girl.

Rowan Kenrith and Will Kenrith: They're waaaay too good at locking out and removing hard to deal with creatures from the board. The fact that they tutor for each other, they're in each other's art, they're partner commanders, and their identical last names means that they were MEANT to be on the field together!

Teferi, Temporal Archmage: Although we run both Teferi and The Chain Veil doesn't mean that this is the combo to chase, because it doesn't work without Teferi as our commander. They are, however, EXTREME VALUE that should never be passed up.

Tezzeret the Seeker : Go seek The Chain Veil. And untap my mana rocks while you're at it!

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon: Because sometimes, you just need to exile the entire game.

Ash Barrens: I just feel a strange connection to it. I can't explain it.

Botanical Sanctum: I had one

Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage: Flashing in a planeswalker at the end of your opponent's turn so you can untap and hold up an instant speed URZA'S BIG OL' BLAST is value that should never be overlooked.

Settle the Score: I really don't get what's going on thematically on this card. Is Liliana eating that guy?SLURP

Urza's Ruinous Blast: URZA'S BIG OOOOOOOLLLLLLLL' BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAST

Ghostly Prison and Propaganda: Don't ever touch me or my superfriends ever again.

Prismatic Omen: It's early mana fixing that makes Koth of the Hammer piss his pants.

Oath of Ajani: The counters are negligible. What we REALLY want is the MF COUPON BOYO

Oath of Teferi: Not only does this card make our deck roughly 2x better, but I'm also extremely salty that I don't have the new Teferi or Karn.

Oath of Nissa: You see Prismatic Omen? It gets even better.
