This is one of the decks designed to be played together in a 3v4 or 3v5 Eldrazi vs. the Gatewatch game.

The Gatewatch has the numbers advantage and the tempo advantage, so their spells are powered down, but designed to work really well as a team leaning on team mechanics like surge, support, and "friend or foe" with card choices made more for flavor and fun than power in some cases.

The Eldrazi have the power to go over the top, but that's about it. They have to wait to get their real threats out and they can't help each other much.

Kozilek's job for the Eldrazi is control. They have nearly the only way for the Eldrazi to counter anything the Gatewatch is doing, so that's Kozi's job along with going over the top of the Gatewatch's puny creatures.

When deck building, I only use cards in modern or newer frames.
