In that birthing pod deck, there really isn't any synergy either, just +P/+T counters as a main thing. Sure, each card is good on its own, and you could say that mine are as well. Prowling Serpopard is a solid 3 CMC for 4/3 and removes creature counter-spells. I could move that to the sideboard, but it's pretty good for attacking. Matter Reshaper is useful for all of those permanents worth 3 or less, and is also good for a 3/2 for 3, and can be a chump blocker as well as a damager; esesntially with Matter Reshaper I'm paying at most 3 for anything that I draw that is 3 or less, plus the Matter reshaper itself. I could also move that to the sideboard if needed. Thought-Knot Seer is a hand-control plus 4/4 creature for 4. I removed some hand control so that this creature is useful, as it doubles as a creature as well as with ETB hand control, which can be blinked. Sylvan Caryatid is essential ramp for my manabase. The only cards that aren't useful on their own are Walker of the Wastes, and Tithe Taker, but costs 2 CMC and is very useful against burn/counter/instants as well as mana-triggered abilities etc,. Walker of the Wastes could be replaced by a higher mana powerful useful Eldrazi, as when I use Sylvan Caryatid and Cryptolith Rite, they are 'of any color' and I don't think colorless is a color. Which is why I have a ton of wastes as lands. Yes, I know that my manabase sucks, but I don't want to run a ton of 1x expensive dual and shock lands, and I plan on testing out many decks when Pioneer MTG Arena arrives.

Thus it seems that Thought-Knot Seer and Sylvan Caryatid are really the only creatures I think are really valuable in this deck.

Thought-Knot Seer is one of my favorite cards.

Hmm, I am not a big fan of Hedron Matrix, Walker of the Wastes, or the Urza lands.

Your creatures are already huge so the Matrix seems a bit win-more. I feel somewhat the same about Eldrazi Conscription, but the trample and annihilator abilities are nice. The Walker of the Wastes always seems great in theory but comes across as underwhelming in execution (17 Wastes seems low for it as well). The Urza lands are great when assembled, but how often does that really happen?

I know you said this is made of stuff from around the house, but I know you have some of these: Power Conduit, Urza's Factory, Coretapper, Walker of the Wastes, Ghostfire Blade, Champion's Helm, Tenza, Godo's Maul, Shadowspear, Basilisk Collar, Cloud Key, Wayfarer's Bauble, Ichor Wellspring, Mystic Forge, Karn's Bastion, Terminal Moraine, Crystal Vein, I know you don't have Mana Vault, but I would be willing to trade one of mine to you for a pile of cards TBD over time if you're interested.

So far I am making a Dimir-Colorless Eldrazi thought-warping deck.

Thought-warping is just my fanciful term for the mechanic of looking at the other player's hand and exiling cards. I have 14 cards for this.

I need help with the mana curve on my Eldrazi!

What Eldrazi cards should I use or remove?

What are some good Dimir cards I'm missing?

Should I use 4x Burnished Hart in the place of 4x Hedron Crawler?

I have 55 cards. Need recommendations for other cards!

Silent Arbiter would work great as while, i wouldn't exile it when Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger enters the battlefield. It is always good to have basic lands in the deck, it helps avoid being mana screwed from cards like Ruination . this would also give you a reason to keep Walker of the Wastes . honestly, you only need one planeswalker which is Ugin, the Ineffable , the others are not as useful to you in an eldrazi deck, though all have great loyalty abilities, aren't as useful, and become targeted very quickly
