Why Purphoros?

I want to play my big flashy creatures faster, so we're playing Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded

Note to self: If you are not excited about playing it, it shouldn't be in the deck.

Game Plan

The game plan is to play our big creatures, hit our friends with them, attempt to keep a fair amount of cards in our hand with wheel and draw effects, and keep an eye on the board state with various removal methods attached to our big creatures.

The cards in "Purphoros's Back-up Brigade" (see the custom card category) are meant as back-up plans if your friends have figured out what you are up to and keep finding ways to remove or counter Purphoros.

The "Stops Anti-Fun" cards have been put there as a way to counter several strategies that are strong against us (mill, static orb effects, blue players [the bastards]).

Feedback from fellow Timmys and Tammys is more than welcome.

Who/What is a "Timmy"?

Enhancement

This deck could be improved by incorporating better ramp to get Purphoros out sooner and adding in our good friend Blightsteel Colossus (replacing one of the heavy hitter dragons for it). My friends and I try to play with a $300 limit, so many of the decisions have been made with this in mind. That said, I do believe the creatures in the deck are the creatures you want to play with Purph-daddy (a solid mix of dragons, artifact with some recursion thrown in the mix, and creatures with powerful removal effects).
