The Black Rose is up to her usual recursion shenanigans in this deck. The goal here is to abuse sac and ETB effects as much as possible and occasionally snatch up our opponents creatures.

Most of the creatures here either enter with their own +1/+1 counters or some form of persist, unleash, undying and so on, meaning we don't have to rely too much on Marchesa's universal dethrone ability. This leaves us free to sac our creatures to any of our many outlets. Oh, and all those cards that "borrow" our opponents' creatures for a turn? We're going to steal em, sac em, and make them our own.

So what's the wincon? Flayer of the Hatebound, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Warstorm Surge let us dish out damage whenever Marchesa returns creatures from our graveyard. Or we can the board with Damnation or Blasphemous Act knowing we'll get all our creatures back at the end step and try to swing for the win next go around.
