Gain Life And Deal Damage with this Red & White Deck!

This has been my primary modern deck over the past 5 years. It has evolved over time but remains true to an identity of aggressive combat tricks with burn and life gain capabilities.

Mana costs are low. Ramp, burn, and prowess cards give the deck its aggressive potential. Odds are good that you may defeat an opponent with 20+ damage by turn 4 if they don't put up a good defense.

Defensively, Soulfire Burn has performed well against burn decks by protecting creatures and gaining life. Emerge Unscathed can protect your creatures. But it can also help your lifelink attackers go unblocked with protection from the color of your opponents creatures.

Arcbond is a favorite card of the deck - but could be placed in the sideboard. Arcbond is most productive when several creatures are on the field attacking you and you block with a lifelink creature as it may destroy all creatures, damage the opposing player, and increase your life total.
