Sliver Hivelord provides indestructibility. What else would one want to do after making certain all of their creatures cannot die?

Send the board to oblivion and rule over the ashes. A comfortable collection of board wipes are ready to clean everything up. Advantage comes easy when you deny others the chance to find control.

The deck avoids -1/-1 counters and sacrifice control. While we can target our slivers with a destroy effect and gain some value, -1/-1 counters and sacrifices are still dangerous. It's also important to remember that many of the efficient board wipes are sorceries. Instant speed responses should only be used when absolutely necessary (Fated Retribution and Rout for example).

The deck is also filled with a bit of a pillowfort//stax package until the theme gets more testing. My heavily black meta sees very little enchantment and artifact disruption outside of a lone Freyalise deck.
