Je ne suis pas fan de tes spell a 7 mana.

Megantic Sliver je ne vois pas l'utilité.

Call to the Kindred est bcp trop facile a retirer. soit anti-enchante, soit anti-creature.

T'as tellement de truc qui protege tes creatures en ciblé que Asceticism n'as plus de lieu.

MollyMab You're right, I should absolutely focus on Predatory Sliver and Sinew Sliver those are definitely better options for boosts than Megantic Sliver. The only way I was able to get it out in the game I played with my friend is because I used Channel the Suns and that also took a minute to utilise.

Do you have recommendations for some non basic lands that I could use in the deck by any chance?

So I built this Sliver focused deck, but I really don't have the budget to be spending $20 AUD per card so that I can build the sickest deck ever. Therefore, I'm wondering what some improvements I can make to this deck are to make it more capable, even if it isn't going to be winning any tournaments

Creatures x4 Cloudshredder Sliver x4 Diffusion Sliver x3 Galerider Sliver x2 Megantic Sliver x2 Venom Sliver x3 Manaweft Sliver x2 Tempered Sliver x2 Sentinel Sliver x3 Leeching Sliver

BossUltinuc on Slivers Deck Help (Modern)

Okay so, a while back I wanted to put together a Slivers deck just for some fun casual play with friends, because I like the concept and playstyle they have.

I bought a relatively cheap pre-built deck online, and a friend recommended some other cards I should find to use in the deck. Unfortunately, that was a while ago, and I'm not in contact with that friend anymore so I'm pretty much back at square one.

The creatures listed below are what I already have, so based on this, what might be a fun + effective deck that I could build? I'm willing to buy singles as long as the individual cards aren't too costly (ideally no more than about $5-7 total for every copy I'd need of a card, but I'm open to spending a little bit more)

Creatures: Cleaving Sliver x1 Spiteful Sliver x1 Bladeback Sliver x1 Blur Sliver x2 Hollowhead Sliver x2 Striking Sliver x2

Lavabelly Sliver x1 Cloudshredder Sliver x2 Bonescythe Sliver x1 Enduring Sliver x1 Constricting Sliver x1 Sentinel Sliver x2 Sidewinder Sliver x2

Scuttling Sliver x3 Diffusion Sliver x4 Galerider Sliver x3

Megantic Sliver x2 Groundshaker Sliver x2 Venom Sliver x2 Manaweft Sliver x3 Predatory Sliver x2 Tempered Sliver x2

Darkheart Sliver x3 Dregscape Sliver x3 Leeching Sliver x3

Thank you in advance for the help!

Holagod, thanks for the compliment on my build. I'm always happy to assist another Hiveminded individual in achieving their vision. A lot of really good card suggestions have come your way - but I think you are also missing something very important: A proper deck description. A deck that is considered competitive within commander is assumed to be sitting down with other competitive builds: e.g. Stax, Food Chain, etc. Your deck as it is currently built is more suited for a focused deck meta that threatens to win between turns 10 and 13 (just a guesstimate) as your primary win condition is combat damage.

I'm not trying to disparage you, or put down your deck. I'm just trying help you create a better understanding of your deck and how it will be represented/discussed with others. Fun is a relative term - and doesn't really convey much outside of you really liking it. I highly suggest you take a look at Epochalyptik's Do you want to write a primer?. It's a wonderful guide on how to write an informative and in-depth discussion of your deck in such a way that forces you to ask important questions and be thoughtful on how it functions.

As for my own personal recommendation - you have too many creatures, and not enough interaction. Trust me, I too wish to run all the slivers - but having too many creatures can be a real detriment to a deck. You need room for interaction. Slim down the number of Slivers down to 25 (I feel like there's a joke in here somewhere - a sliver of a sliver?). That leaves 14 fresh slots opened up to create a more cohesive strategy in your deck. I don't know exactly what theme you are going for, but with the inclusion of Reflections of Littjara, maybe you're going for a more "clone swarm" Sliver build? Here are just some off the cuff suggestions:

mortlock wow thats good to know, i have a cool FNM Megantic Sliver ill add, now with Urza's Incubator he is a little less of a pain to play. Thanks for looking into the Mesmeric Sliver bit. He was always just a good politics player imho.

Some additional Slivers I think you should include are Megantic Sliver and Sinew Sliver. The more lords you can copy over and over, the better. Separately, I'm not sure on this but I think Mesmeric Sliver's ability is a cumulative effect. So when copied you could fateseal for 2, 3, etc. I'm not exactly sure if I'm right, and will ask a judge. But if I'm right, Mesmeric could lowkey be really nasty.
