My current take on Rasputin flicker/blink. I'm actively avoiding the Nim Deathmantle combo because it's not naturally synergistic with the rest of the deck. Flicker and blink combos (like Kaho, Minamo Historian and Nexus of Fate *list* ) are fine because they'd fit naturally in the deck even without the combo. There's a wizard subtheme, but I'm not sure it's strong enough to justify wizard support.

I need help with this deck. It's my favorite to play and my go-to when I need a win, so I want it to be as strong as possible while still staying on theme. My problem isn't card suggestions; I know all about Teleportation Circle and Vanish into Memory. If a card exists that would be good in this deck, I probably know about it.

The issue is balance. How many flicker spells should I play? How much interaction? I'm at a particular impass with ramp right now. I could go hard for fast mana and probably get Rasputin Dreamweaver consistently by turn 4. That would completely change the mana curve of the deck; for example, I'd likely pull Spirited Companion for something like Blue Sun's Zenith. This direction is a little weaker because things go sideways fast if Ras is removed or countered. It could also be much much stronger if I can keep him out. As it is, there are a lot of lower costed cards to play before Ras comes out and supplement the big finishers I have in the deck like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth.

Any advice on balancing is appreciated!
