Maybeboard

Being a player to the core, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest particularly resonates with me. Throughout the years, I have tried several builds that never quite made the deck functional and fun. Ultimately, while goldfishing and gaining more experience as a player with other decks I have, I realized that the proper build for me would be to go for a token heavy version. Ultimately, the deck is less dependant on Mazirek that way, and I'd rather have fourteen 1/1s transformed in 3/3s than two 3/3s transformed in 5/5s. Thus, I reduced a lot of support cards that increases the number of +1/+1 counters for support cards that increases the token counts. Card's like Death Cloud & Scapeshift are wincons of the deck. Enjoy!

1- Use token generators to quickly populate my boardstate

2- Cast Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest when board is properly established and use just a few sacrifice triggers to add +1/+1 counters and gain board advantage

1. Mulligans Required: X,XX (XXX)
2. Turn first creature: X,XX (XXX)
3. Turn Strategy Online: X,XX (XXX)
4. Number of Tokens by T6: X,XX (XXX)
5. Turn of Land Miss: X,XX (XXX)
6. Turn Hand Emptied: X,XX (XXX)

1. Early on, I realized I needed to downsize enablers like Unbound Flourishing, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Primal Vigor, Dictate of Erebos and Court of Garenbrig because those enablers aren't useful un til my board is setup and thus a dead draw that also puts a target on my back from the get go.

2. I am not liking treasure tokens as much as I thought. There was never a time where I was happy drawing Treasure Vault to be honest. It's the same reason wy I removed Pitiless Plunderer and Revel in Riches from the deck. I understand you can get a lot of cool triggers and instant mana source and do explosive plays, but I'd rather make scions/spawn tokens that can block and be boosted through Mazirek's effect.

3. Tutors seem to be most useful first to get reccuring token generation on the board if I don't have any. If I do have reccuring token generation on the board like Bitterblossom or Awakening Zone, then the Tutor's focus shifts to strategic enablers such as Doubling Season or Grave Pact. Finally, if all is the above conditions are already in place, the tutors can fetch for explosive win conditions like Scapeshift or Grave Pact

1. OPENING HAND
Ideally 3 lands, including both colors, and a recurring token generator.
2. TUTORS
In order of priority to fetch: Recurring Token Generation, Strategic Enablers, Win Con.
