This is a more midrange build of Marchesa aimed at landing and protecting her and then generating value by recycling creatures with ETB effects, or in combination with cards like Grim Haruspex or Skullclamp to maintain card advantage. Very aggressive builds that I've tried have failed in the past since opponents usually manage to survive even a fast start and the deck would run out of steam, leaving me in top deck mode and on low health due to the nature of Dethrone.

I would recommend a more midrange/value build to anyone having trouble finding a good approach with Marchesa, TBR since it’s had a lot more success for me and has been quite a resilient deck. While infinite combos are frowned upon in some play groups in higher powered pods they're sometimes a necessary evil to close out the game, and this list has a few to call on if need be:

Metallic Mimic (Wizards) + Sac Outlet + Glen Elendra Archmage

Depending on the sacrifice outlet either an arbitrarily large Carrion Feeder or infinite mana with Phyrexian Altar are the most common results.
