This Kenrith, the Returned King deck with Zirda, the Dawnwaker as a companion runs no instants and sorceries. It relies on Kentriths reanimation ability to provide card advantage and uses creature based ramp and ability cost reductions by Zirda, the Dawnwaker and Biomancer's Familiar to provide a lot of instant-speed value.

Keeping Zirda, the Dawnwaker and/or Biomancer's Familiar on the board is important, so there are a lot of protection pieces like Mother of Runes in the deck.

The deck can win in multiple ways, the most reliable being setting up a drain effect with Vizkopa Guildmage or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, reducing Kenriths lifegain cost to {W} and then going nuts.

Other win cons include Brutal Hordechief to hit with creatures, copying opponent’s win cons with Sakashima's Student, total board control with a activation-cost-reduced Zacama, Primal Calamity, activation-cost-reduced Xantcha, Sleeper Agent or outvalueing everyone with activation-cost-reduced Thrasios, Triton Hero.

It also contains an infinite combo with Vigean Graftmage and Incubation Druid/Bloom Tender/Faeburrow Elder, which will create infinite mana and then draw out all opponents with Kenrith, the Returned King.

In addtion to cost-reducing Kenrith, the Returned King’s card draw, spells like Nyx Weaver, Magus of the Wheel, Doom Whisperer or Underrealm Lich fill up the graveyard quickly to empower reanimation.
Incubation Druid/Bloom Tender/Faeburrow Elder combined with untappers like Kiora's Follower provide plenty of mana, but there is also Embodiment of Spring and Burnished Hart which are very efficient when cost-reduced.

Myriad Landscape and Krosan Verge add land-based ramp (also potentially cost-reduced), and Breeding Pool and Godless Shrine were added to provide good targets for Krosan Verge.

Ramos, Dragon Engine rounds out the ramp package to provide late-game bursts.

Creature-based tutors like Yisan, the Wanderer Bard or Fiend Artisan provide consistency, usually they look for Mother of Runes or Biomancer's Familiar first.

Spore Frog and Kami of False Hope can protect the player while building up the engine, and can be recurred with Kenrith, the Returned King indefinitely.

The deck also contains lots of creature-based removal, like Dark Impostor (great when cost-reduced), Caustic Caterpillar and Ethersworn Adjudicator in order to control the board agains threats.
