Once Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder left his home among his ogre brethren on the cliffs with Maelstrom Wanderer to learn and explore the world. Now he has returned to the cliffs to impart the knowledge he gained from his travels. Unfortunately, his brethren are brutes, so they could never understand his newfound Omniscience. There is one thing they understand though, there is a whole new world to Decimate and bring to a Painful Quandary. With his newfound knowledge his ogre brethren behind him there will be a Kindred Dominance emerging from the Cover of Darkness that is the ogres. They will Terminate all resistance in one Blasphemous Act, leaving only Yidris and his Insidious Will to act as a Beacon of Tomorrows.

This deck was an interesting one to build, I could have gone mono-red with Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs (ick, now way, I could never bring myself down to that) or Gruul with Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, but I thought Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder would be fun (that and I've been wanting to build a deck with him). Building the deck I found that there wasn't a whole ton of decent ogres, so I just grabbed the ones that I thought were decent and through them in. Basically the deck tries to do a little control and make sure Yidris gets through, then just cast spells to get some value. I'm not sure how well the deck will do, but it seems fun nonetheless.
