This isn't Cassino, but we can still sweep the board.

The three most powerful words in Magic are not "Draw a card" or "Destroy target permanent" at all.

They are Destroy All Creatures.

The Deck Show

The Creatures Show

In alphabetical order:

• Ankle Shanker's function is to give Oros, the Avenger Deathtouch to clear the board.
• Aurelia, the Warleader gets you 2 Oros, the Avenger triggers and is a solid body.
• Deathbringer Regent, Dread Cacodemon and Reiver Demon clear the board.
• Iroas, God of Victory is a solid body which grants evasion and protection to our commander.
• Knight of the White Orchid is a ramp piece. Ways to trigger it include bounce lands, not playing first, and playing against a ramp deck.

• Solemn Simulacrum is another solid ramp piece. It also lets us draw a card when we wipe the board.

The Equipment Package Show

The equipment package is a vital part of the deck due to the amazing synergy with Oros, the Avenger.

Basilisk Collar is a crucial piece. It allows for our commander to essentially Duneblast every turn and even gains life back.

Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots are good protection for Oros, the Avenger and can also give him haste.

Scythe of the Wretched hasn't been tested yet, but I'm confident we'd suddenly get a LOT of creatures if it works.

Steelshaper's Gift and Open the Armory allow us to tutor up any equipment we may need.

The Board Wipes Show

Akroma's Vengeance allows you to pay a bit more to get a Nevinyrral's Disk off right away. It also has cycling.

Austere Command is the most versatile boardwipe available. It can destroy all creatures, or all artifacts and enchantments, or... You get the idea.

Blasphemous Act is to wipe the board. It also happens to be part of a devastating combo.

Chain Reaction is a spare Blasphemous Act.

Crux of Fate is the deck's featured card, and for good reason. You normally can't run Duneblast in this deck, but with Crux of Fate, you basically can, as long as the target is Oros, the Avenger or another Dragon.

Day of Judgment destroys all creatures.

Deathbringer Regent, Dread Cacodemon and Reiver Demon are all creature boardwipes. You get a big thing and destroy everything else.

Descend upon the Sinful is extraordinarily good. This deck will probably get Delirium at some point, so it's essentially another creature boardwipe, but with an exception. It EXILES all creatures. Indestructible creatures and Gods beware.

Extinguish All Hope destroys a bunch of creatures.

Merciless Eviction is Austere Command's exiling cousin. It's pretty good.

Necromantic Selection could probably net you a win if there's something scary on board, like an Eldrazi titan.

Nevinyrral's Disk is alright. It destroys stuff.

Of course, the deck plays Wrath of God. Why wouldn't it?

The Synergies Show

Guilty Conscience + Stuffy Doll kills an opponent.

Blasphemous Act + Repercussion kills anyone with 3 or 4 creatures. Chain Reaction can replace Blasphemous Act, but only if there are enough creatures on the battlefield.

Basilisk Collar + Oros, the Avenger lets you Mass Calcify. A lot. Bonus: Add in Scythe of the Wretched, and you get to steal the dead creatures!

Repercussion + Sorin, Grim Nemesis is also pretty good.

The Win Conditions Show

Beat them to death with Oros, the Avenger.

Get a bunch of soldiers with Assemble the Legion and beat them to death with tokens.

Combo off with Repercussion or Stuffy Doll.

TL;DR Show

Kill them slowly, and KEEP THEM FROM WINNING.

Q&A

Why Oros?

"There's so much you could be running! BLUE!" Well, this deck is actually based on the commander precon Heavenly Inferno. I chose Oros because of the synergy with Basilisk Collar, and because of the lack of boardwipes in Blue. My playgroup needed more boardwipes, so I made a deck full of boardwipes.

Why not this card?

Well, I probably can't afford it. If you find any budget recommendations, though, do tell.
