The porpouse of this deck is to ramp the first 1-5 turns with colourless mana rocks and classic green ramp in form of sorceries and creatures, then cast as soon as possible Scion of the Ur-Dragon to use its ability and put some big strong dragons or some utility ones in the graveyard. before casting Scion of the Ur-Dragon is important to have at least two colourless mana free to trigger its ability (better to have four mana free in that way you can defend scion).

In the mid game the deck has lots of removal spells, enchantments for giving haste to the dragons, some ways to draw more cards, and of course ways to use the dragons in the graveyard.

The lands are kinda slow sometimes and is possible to have some problems in terms of mana fixing, but these problems are rare and in practical not so relevant, especially if you consider that this deck is on a budget. In other words the deck works more than expected.

some good soup combos are:

-triggering two times scion ability for Moltensteel Dragon and then Atarka, World Render, with the +1/+1 counter and the double strike is ko for sure due to commander damage.

-the good ol Hellkite Charger + Savage Ventmaw for demi-infinite combat phases.
