I have probably made every deck color combo under the sun except for Abzan. I've always wanted to try a reanimate deck but I could never get it to take off. Colfenor, the Last Yew technically doesn't go full reanimate. He does just enough for me to make things interesting.

This deck has multiple strategies that could be fun for you and annoying for anyone else.

Big swingers? Creatures who have naturally high toughness but also creatures like Angel of Invention, Benalish Marshal, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Kongming, "Sleeping Dragon" naturally beef up anything that comes down for you. If you cant use them Gaea's Anthem, Glorious Anthem, Spirdersilk Armor, and Spear of Heliod should do the trick.

Pillow Fort/Control vibes? Not a problem. Plenty of target removal Assassin's Trophy, Vindicate, and Mortify. Plenty of board wipes Dusk / Dawn, Damn, and Finale of Eternity. Several cards Thalia, Heretic Cathar + Baird, Steward of Argive + Blind Obedience will slow your opponents down and you can't forget the classic Ghostly Prison + Sphere of Safety comfort. Not to mention the several protection spells you have to save you from opponents board wipes/removals.

The main Idea is to use Colfenor's second trigger to allow us to get any card we want from our graveyard back into our hand and not pay dearly for it. So a lot of focus to either build up toughness for all creatures or +1+1 for everyone.

I also tried to keep this semi affordable for people. So while I don't want to call this budget. It is on the cheaper side. Definitely beats dropping 1-2k on a deck you can't even get rolling because everyone targets you!

I know this is leaning toward casual play but I don't really care lol I love the idea and I love making it really hard for other players to kill you off! As always, let me know what you think!

I keep playtesting trying to figure out what's missing. I noticed too many times only drawing one or two lands at the start and starving for too many turns. I have made a slight adjustment with the land count. So, without further ado...

Out: Grim Contest and Sunset Revelry In: Gavony Township Dark Depths

I still have 5 removals and 3 board wipes to get rid of unwanted creatures. Revelry, although cool, like Zulaport Cutthroat and Blood Artist didn't quite feel like it fit in the deck. Obviously I love the concept of this deck and I want it to succeed so I am revisiting this deck constantly. Enjoy guys!
