Converted from my years-long mono-red Akroma deck (The Red Menace: Akroma's Manifesto), updated for a leaner & meaner experience with Inferno of the Star Mounts.

Sideboard explanations:

• Bolt Bend & Not of this World protect the commander from pesky removal.

• Bonecrusher Giant, Leyline of Punishment, Skullcrack aid with getting commander damage through the ever-annoying Maze of Ith and other damage-preventers.

• Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast & Burnout -- keep control of the stack!

• Finally, Grip of Chaos can act as a makeshift monored Asceticism.
