Purpose of the deck is Lifegain, protection, and making your opponent helplessly weep while they can't attack or how little they would do because of how much life you have! Such as huge life gain cards including Beacon of Immortality and Invincible Hymn . The deck is very synergetic with cards like Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond , there are multiple ways to actually double or sometimes even triple you life total! Such as Serra Avatar + Swords to Plowshares , Storm Herd + Soul Warden , or triple with any of the combos listed and a Boon Reflection + Rhox Faithmender out on the battlefield. But to do all this may take a bit, thats why you've got your Enchantments. Sphere of Safety and Propaganda to name a few, and within no time you can have a lot of life or make your opponent pretty much cry.
