Klothys or "Clovis" as I affectionately like to call her is a brand new God from the upcoming Theros set! Initially I was very drawn to her because of the amazing art and enchantment card border and then her value engine abilities. Now I have been tinkering around with her, using damage increasing effects to make her Precombat Main Phase ability more powerful. With also a suite of permanents from the group slug tradition, this brew intends to be punishing and finishing off the pod with Commander damage and unbearably heated board states. This deck also created a home for a handful of my weird red rares like Marauders, B-T Shaman, Embermaw and Overabundance!

Hazoret the Fervent & Pariah's Shield & Arcbond paired with cards like Chandra's Ignition as well as Pyromancer's Goggles creates quite the explosion of fun! Grafted Exoskeleton & Ruric Thar, the Unbowed or the Hazoret kit from earlier can finish games off thanks to the Poison Damage rule, the Exoskeleton can be grafted to many creatures in the deck but Ruric is amazing for it. Torbran, Thane of Red Fell & Spellshock is an especially nasty pair and creates a situation where players might not want to cast any spells and at worst divert their attention from another threat to these two.
This deck has a lot of symmetrical damage and for that, this deck has Sun Droplet for gaining some decent amount of life and Urza's Armor which makes most damage sources more tolerable for the player. And also Klothys herself provides some mitigation with the in-built life gain from her ability if she exiles a non-land.
Well, really anything the deck casts, fetchlands and permanents that get killed. This also has a couple looting effects for easy graveyard pitch: Faithless Looting the classic, that should be always Flashbacked after normal casting it, one never desires to exile it via Clovis. Magmatic Insight deserves a mention too and it pitches a land specifically which can be useful in certain situations for her exiling effect. The two cycle lands included here are also very useful and flexible. Oath of Druids is a powerhouse of an enchantment, recently replacing Mending of Dominaria as a "dumping machine" this wordy essay of a card will provide a form of card advantage and mill that will help Clovis a lot.
Against token strategies, one might also consider adding something like Thunderstaff. Another considerable inclusion would be Ramunap Excavator and Tectonic Reformation package for getting card advantage and mana off of Klothys. Mwonvuli Acid-Moss and related land destruction can also be a viable strategy but it is often frowned upon by more casual groups, so it might only be a workable strategy once. Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion could be called a mono-red staple, it will help with ramp and fill the graveyard as well as draw some new cards. Sundering Stroke is another possible big damage inclusion to the Sorcery package of this deck and can perform well; be it ending the game, kingmaking or just to spite someone!

The selective exiling effect can hit Any Graveyard in the pod, not just your own. It is good to remember that and against some GY strategies like Meren and Daretti it can be very devastative. The Theros enchantment gods have always been notorious for being difficult to remove, thanks to their devotion mechanic and being indestructible and for spreading almost unavoidable AoE damage Klothys can become a threat very early on. There is a fair bit of both land based and artifact based ramp in the deck to achieve a turn two Klothys and definitely a turn three Klothys. (However it is not always needed to cast her right away, if there aren't any cards on any GY.)

Theros Beyond Death has gotten me excited to try out Gruul again in EDH, both Klothys and Gallia seem like really fun Commanders for Casual and Semi-Competitive builds and they only get stronger with time.
