Mishra is replacing a custom commander idea I had due to the same mana cost and niche enough to tell he isn't meant for the deck. lol
This card was created for one simple reason. That reason is the hilarity of giving your opponents shitty spells and negative effects.
Most of the spells have either a negative impact or at least minor impact. These are gifts for your opponents.
Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation are important to allow you to trade creatures, or group hug cards. Its already to give your opponent them because, like in the case of Howling Mine, it doesn't matter if your opponent has the card, the ability works for everyone and you get to use whatever spell they played!
There are still a few cards you want to play yourself, like your tutors
-Fabricate and Sphinx Summoner will primarily be used to tutor up Vedalken Orrery so you can give your opponent a Desolation Angel or Leveler.
Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Mystical Teachings or Mystical Tutor will likely be used to tutor part of a combo you are missing, most likely Mana Short.
The deck features some removal that is meant for you to keep for yourself like Wrecking Ball, Terminate, Undermine, Silence the Believers, AEtherspouts and Hero's Demise. In worse case scenarios you can use Reckless Spite, Devour in Shadow or Vendetta yourself.
This deck has a few silly combos it can use like Mana Short + Slaughter Pact , Mana Short + Pact of Negation , Mana Short + Pact of the Titan to win a game. You trade them the Pact on their turn then Mana Short them so they can't pay the upkeep cost during their next upkeep. Or you can Bojuka Bog + Immortal Coil them to exile their new found life source.
The deck also has a draw lock for your opponents using Maralen of the Mornsong + Stranglehold .
Then simply giving an opponent Final Fortune too put them on a 1 turn clock.
