I had been drooling over Terese Nielsen's rendition of Hanna, Ship's Navigator for years, so when the latest printing came out in the 2016 Commander release... I knew it was time to build.

The following is what I came up with. It is half way between a pillow-fort and a prison deck, and it is really likes drawing cards. It doesn't necessarily play "feel-good" Magic, but my playgroup is alright with it currently.

I know most people run Hanna as an enchantress type build, but I had to go the artifact route instead. What can I say, I love jank. Any thoughts or comments appreciated!

Updates Add

I bought a few boxes of Ultimate Masters and decided to throw some of my pulls into this deck. I've also added a number of other cards in the past year, and I thought it would be a good time to update the list. So without further ado...

I've finally improved the landbase, adding Celestial Colonnade, Flooded Strand and Flagstones of Trokair, and one copy of Tithe will hopefully smooth out my early land drops. This deck gets crushed if it can't get the prison/pillowfort cards into play early, and folds to hyper-aggressive decks. I added Engineered Explosives in hopes that it can be a recurring answer to tokens and low CMC creatures. Exotic Orchard and Fellwar Stone were added to increase EE range.

Final additions include Back to Basics, which compliments the prison gameplan. Eldrazi Conscription and Wurmcoil Engine create potent recurring threats. I still want to add a Torrential Gearhulk at some point, for flashback shenanigans.
