I think Alela is strongher than she looks, this deck is built with the objective of winning fairly with combat and pumped up fairy tokens. counterspells are mainly here to prevent boardwipes expecially those that remove artifacts and enchantmets, if they resolve we might take a long time to rebuild. I choose to not play additional protection for the commander like the "swift boots", reason is, we got counterspells that can do that if we need them to, but mostly we have a ton of ramp so we should have not too much problems recasting her.
