Eminence is a very fair and balanced ability

Commander / EDH* UBR (Grixis)

itsdarsh

deck aims to tempo the game out until it assembles one of its combos, should kind of give the impression of tempo-based Grixis twin that dominated modern

hope you like the stack mate

combos:

(note: I'm aware that these aren't infinite combos but rather deterministic sequences but I'm just gonna say infinite as a short-hand)

Ashnod's Altar + Bloodline Necromancer - infinite ETB, infinite colorless mana, infinite hasty 3/2 lifelink tokens that die EOT

Dualcaster Mage + Ghostly Flicker - infinite ETB, infinite colored mana, infinite hasty 2/2 tokens that die EOT

Archaeomancer + Goblin Electromancer + Gilded Lotus + Ghostly Flicker - infinite ETB, infinite colored mana, infinite instant casts, get all instants and sorceries back from graveyard, infinite hasty 1/1 tokens that die EOT

Archaeomancer + Naban, Dean of Iteration + Gilded Lotus + Ghostly Flicker - same as above

Timestream Navigator + City's Blessing + AEther Adept + 11 mana per turn - infinite turns (there's other combos with Timestream Navigator too)

payoffs:

note: in theory, any of these combos should just win the game in combat as you have an arbitrarily large amount of hasty tokens, but in EDH this isn't always possible (or you don't want to give your opponent a chance to respond) so here are some alternative payoffs

Gemstone Array - convert colorless mana to colored mana of any colors

Astral Cornucopia - convert colorless mana to colored mana of one colors (need bounce/other open mana to abuse if more than one color is needed)

Diviner's Wand - draw your deck with colorless mana

Azami, Lady of Scrolls - draw your deck with up to 99 of your 99999999999999999999999 tokens

AEther Adept or Sidisi's Faithful - infinite bounce/recursion

Inalla, Archmange Ritualits - actually cast her (who wouldve guessed????) and use token army to kill all opponents dead

Adeliz, the Cinder Wind - (can only happen via Archaeomancer combo) infinite +1/+1 to Wizard army

Nin, the Pain Artist - (requires repeatable bounce and for an opponent to control a creature) draw your opponent out

Vela the Night-Clad - when the tokens all leave the battlefield, or when you're doing the Timestream combo, your opponents just lose, this ability can happen on someone else's turn

(note: i'm also interested in other instant speed ways to win the game that don't require crappy instants that are otherwise dead draws)
