"Whenever one or more..."

Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle is pretty underwhelming commander. That's it. Nothing more to say. This is my attempt to make at least somewhat playable deck for him.

Oh maaaaan, why must his ability say "Whenever one or more"...

I couldn't even bring myself to finish decks name.

Apathy aside his lore is pretty cool since being a seafaring vampire hierophant in itself sounds awesome.

So here's the deck, I guess..

ADDED 27.12.2021: Yo I'm back, though I don't really wanna be back. I've been using Unholy Officant as my bookmark and kinda felt obligated to upgrade this deck a little. So here goes nothing:

Welcoming Vampire - This card is awesome and I really like it in my Breta deck. It is a slamdunk in here too, being a vampire and such.

Unholy Officiant - Let us be honest, it's not great here. Then again not a lot is great here so I think it fits here like a stake through a heart.

Idol of Oblivion - We need draw and this gives us it. Not the most reliable source but I have a soft spot for it.

Wedding Ring - Same goes for this as for the above one.

Voldaren Estate - Cool utility land for vamps. I pulled Dracula version of it so I thought why not.

Scavenger Grounds - Graveyard hate in a land slot. Nothing fancy.

Castle Ardenvale - More utility lands.

Flawless Maneuver - Protection for our crew.

Heliod's Intervention - Great card. Can give you life or destroy stuff.

In order to add cards I had to cut cards, as is the way. These ones had to walk the plank:

Hanweir Militia Captain  , Stoneforge Masterwork, Ghostly Prison, Enlightened Tutor, Return to Dust, Slaughter the Strong and 2 Snow-Covered Plains. I suck at math, it is actually 3 plains' but I'm doing this on mobile so I'm leaving my failure to count here.

Depending on my whims and how this deck works I might tune it a little more in the future. This commander kinda bums me out a little but for some macabre reason I,ve yet to gut it for pieces.
