TPD; Finally, a Colorless EDH Deck

Commander / EDH*

MaltOMeal

The Peregrine Dynamo, otherwise known as TPD. Or Total Player Destruction.

This might not look like it, but its a combo deck through and through. So the game plan in this deck is to utilize our commander's ability to maximize value, this is hard to do with our limited pool of cards we can work with, but it is nonetheless possible. With this being a colorless deck, you will not likely have great hands to start, but when you go off you go off hard.

The Peregrine Dynamo is a unique creature that can copy an activated or triggered ability of a legendary source that you control. What this means is that when you activate say, Lithoform Engine and then copy the ability with your TPD, you get 2 activations of Lithoform Engine, whether thats copying a spell, permanent or another activated/triggered ability. Not only that, but you can copy any triggered ability from a legendary source... which includes legendary cast triggers! So when you cast Kozilek, Butcher of Truth you can copy the trigger to draw 8 cards instead of 4! The possibilities in this deck are only limited by the colors we lack and the support for the "legendary matters" archetype the deck fits into... but we won't let that stop us.

This deck will play like any colorless deck until we can get some legendary sources into play. What you do with them is up to you, but here are some notable combinations:

Infinite Mana: Basalt Monolith+Rings of Brighthearth

Infinite Damage: Infinite mana+Rings of Brighthearth+Voltaic Key+Lithoform Engine+Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

Infinite Exile: Infinite mana+Rings of Brighthearth+Voltaic Key+Lithoform Engine+Karn Liberated

Copy cast triggers: Emrakul, the Promised End, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth+TPD

Take 2 Opponents' Turns: Mindslaver, Emrakul, the Promised End+TPD

Draw Extra Cards: Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Geier Reach Sanitarium+TPD

Grab Extra Cards: Planar Bridge+TPD

Double Up on Lands: Sword of the Animist+any creature that isn't TPD

Extra Turns+: Gonti's Aether Heart+TPD

Combo Tutor: Inventors' Fair+TPD

I know I didn't really explain the deck very well, but when it comes down to it, you copy activated abilities and triggers as much and as often as you can to outvalue your opponents and overwhelm the board.
