A fairly cheap Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves deck that makes wolves, buffs wolves and their non-wolf buddies, and, of course, chucks wolves like terrifying, furry, fanged cannonballs. Simple, efficient, and satisfying. What's not to love?

The main goal of this deck is to make an army of wolves fast and get them as strong as possible to overwhelm opponents. Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves's lifegain effect snowballs to keep you in the game, and he offers solid creature removal. White "This is mine now" exile spells such as Conclave Tribunal allow you to remove bigger or noncreature threats but must be used sparingly.

Ajani Unyielding, Lifecrafter's Bestiary, Defense of the Heart, and Shared Summons help you dig through the deck to find what you need when you need it. Tolsimir is a very frail commander as a 3/3 with no abilities to protect him from enemy removal spells. To make up for this, use cards like Zendikar Resurgent and Sword of the Animist to generate vast amounts of mana. This will allow you to keep paying the commander tax as many times as is needed.

Heraldic Banner and Hall of Triumph provide great buffs, but can lead to a self boardwipe when used in tandem with Citywide Bust

NOTES

• Wolfcaller's Howl scales in effectiveness directly with how many opponents you have. If you're only up against or two people, you may want to consider swapping it for a different card. I have not figured the optimal swap yet, but I'll keep you posted.

-Try to avoid casting Citywide Bust while Tolsimir Wolfblood is in play, or else you'll wipe your own board along with everyone else's unless you can also cast Heroic Intervention on the same turn.
