This is disguised as a grouphug deck with Kwain, Itinerant Meddler in the forefront, but in reality it is more of a lifegain and token generator deck. I've always read that lifegain isn't a very worthwhile way of building a deck so I decide to try my hand at it and this is the result. Essentially, what the deck wants to do, is draw cards, build up an army of tokens, and have key creatures like Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Archangel of Thune to use the life gained throughout the match to power up the tokens. In addition to this, many creatures in the deck will naturally power up or activate their abilities just by having Kwain do what it does best; drawing cards and gaining life.

Naturally, once you get to the point where the value the deck is creating becomes apparent to the group, you will most likely become the target. This is why I added in a few semi-stax style of cards to deter opponents from messing with my board too much. Cards like Norn's Annex, Solitary Confinement, and Eidolon of Rhetoric will keep them at bay long enough to get the ball rolling while not being too oppressive.

Pemmin's Aura is the MVP of this deck and one of my personal favorite's to pair up with this commander
