The Deck

The Combo

The main combo in this deck is to create infinite mana and win with Shaman of Forgotten Ways , this requires multiple pieces like a haste enabler Concordant Crossroads , a creature that produces a lot of mana Selvala, Heart of the Wilds , and a untap effect like Staff of Domination .

• Step 1. Tap Selvala, Heart of the Wilds with Ghalta, Primal Hunger in play to make 12 mana.

• Step 2. Use Staff of Domination to untap Selvala, then untap Staff. Repeat this process to generate infinite mana.

• Step 3. Use the infinite man to draw cards with Staff, you need Shaman of Forgotten Ways , and Polukranos, World Eater .

• Step 4. Use a lot of mana on Polukranos's Monstrosity ability to have him wipe each of your opponents boards.

• Step 5. Activate Shaman to make all your opponents life totals 0.

There are multiple options in the deck that can replicate the combo presented above.

Mana Generators

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds - She is the best option for enabling the combo when paired with a high power creature like Ghalta.

Karametra's Acolyte - Needs some board presence to go off, but works well in mono green.

Priest of Titania - With the amount of elves in the deck, Priest can provide a good alternative for infinite mana, she also benefits from any elves our opponents might have.

Gyre Sage - Takes time to get going but just about every other creature that isn't a mana dork gets her a counter.

Untap Effects

Staff of Domination - It does every thing, making it the best card for infinite mana. But in mono green we can't tutor for it.

Umbral Mantle - Can allow our mana generators to go infinite, but again can't tutor for it.

Great Oak Guardian - Since it's a creature we can tutor for this one, but he needs his BFF Temur Sabertooth to go infinite, and as a bonus he gives all our creatures +2/+2 if turning sidways is needed to win.

Paradox Engine - Probably the weaker of the untap options since you need to have spells to cast to use it, so without a draw engine it doesn't work as well.

Creatures of Note

Surrak, the Hunt Caller - For four mana he reduces Ghalta's mana cost by five and provides her with haste when she comes into play. Also flavor win with Surrak who feed Atarka serving the Primal Hunger.
