Profet93 Actually still in heavy prototyping. I started rebuilding the deck from scratch yesterday. Sorry in advance for the mess, putting together a bunch of the pieces again today.

I feel like my play group give me too much time to setup and there is not much in the way of heavy control around besides the occasional counter spell or Ghostly Prison. I will be honest, might even give me enough time to pull off a Helix Pinnacle.

Only reason I'm not running Mana Crypt, is I don't have one. I'm actually trying to acquire it. For the sake of building, accepted.

Genesis Wave is defiantly going into the deck

Horn of Greed Feels too powerful to cut, it's going back. You caught me in the middle of a full deck rebuild. It's not leaving :)

Deserted Temple is a good suggestion, accepted

Torn between Boundless Realms and Scapeshift. I want to run atleast one of them.

Sensei's Divining Top is a good suggestion, from my testing it feels a lot better than Sylvan Library. Tempted to put sylvan library on the potential cut list later.

Missed Fabled Passage! Thank you!

Ulvenwald Hydra feels good in the playground right now as a tutor for gaea's cradle or any other land I will be adding to the deck. In addition to that at any time there is a lot of flyers at my table. Tempted to keep him unless I can come to a better quick solution for flying like Whiptongue Hydra. Not sure yet honestly.

Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth will be needed, still sorting out the land base!

New cards arrived today - woot!

Only a handful of replacements

Artifacts Out: Simic Locket , Manalith in Replicating Ring , Cosmos Elixir

Creatures Out: Trollbred Guardian , Whiptongue Hydra , Vorel of the Hull Clade , Sharktocrab , Progenitor Mimic and Biomancer's Familiar

Joining the team (from my MTGA Brawl deck)

The Tarrasque , Wandering Archaic  Flip , Tanazir Quandrix , Volo, Guide to Monsters , Thorn Mammoth and Kogla, the Titan Ape.

Nothing crazy as I'm trying to keep this deck fun with a chance to win out of no where. Hence the decks name :)

Any ideas are welcome!

It is true that the deathtouch package will be worse in multiplayer games since you have more threats to deal with. I think siding into a bigger ramp package would be a good idea. I would caution though that it's important to add in more mana dorks or ramp spells to keep pace with any new bombs you include or you'll find yourself mana screwed a lot of the time.

I went ahead and added my creature-based commander deck so I could link it for reference. It was built from a casual 60-card skeleton that's quite similar to your deck, so some of the ramp cards I've had success with over the years might do well here too.
deck: Predator's Toolkit

Prowling Serpopard or Destiny Spinner could be useful tech if counters are flying around left and right. Vigor is definitely strong against board stalls, and I like Archetype of Endurance against a lot of common removal. Somberwald Sage and Elvish Piper would probably be my first picks for dropping haymakers early without much other support. Yeva, Nature's Herald and Seedborn Muse are particularly disgusting in multiplayer since you essentially play on every turn. Some final bombs I love are Whiptongue Hydra for flyers, Polukranos, World Eater for other creatures, and Sylvan Primordial for most anything else.

For your existing ideas, I think Worldspine Wurm is good if your games go long enough to cast it while Tempt with Discovery is good if you don't have opponents who greatly benefit from the mana. I'm still iffy on Lumberknot in a deck not based around token sacrifice, and I'd probably just run Dungrove Elder if you need a midrange hexproof creature. Hydra's Growth is very good with additional +1/+1 synergy, Kazandu Tuskcaller needs more token synergy, and Strixhaven Stadium feels optimistic in multiplayer. For the bigger cards, I think Vigor , Soul of New Phyrexia , Toski, Bearer of Secrets , Verdant Sun's Avatar , and Vivien Reid are all playable. Myojin of Life's Web needs some way to refill the hand or its ability will never do anything that impactful. Impervious Greatwurm is the weakest option since it gets completely stuffed by chump blockers. I used Connive / Concoct to reanimate it in standard and still found it to be too slow. If you had a Warstorm Surge or something, maybe it'd be a different story...

Grind Thanks for checking it out!

I have only had a few opportunities to play it so far, but I do think it could be susceptible to flyers. Whiptongue Hydra is a great answer, and I have a few spot removal spells to try to answer flyers as well. Spike Weaver has been a great surprise against flyers or anything that tries to win through combat. I just need to make sure I keep some mana up to threaten to fog every combat and they might look at someone else to attack.

I have looked at Rishkar's Expertise and may try it out eventually. I have been trying to get the average CMC down, since 3.23 is still a little high, but Return of the Wildspeaker has been great so I'm sure more of that effect would be too.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I really like the idea of playing Portcullis Vine because getting a turn 1 defender would be nice. The 8 tappable defenders is a good amount from testing so I think I might replace Gatecreeper Vine with Portcullis Vine and see how that goes.

From testing it out my friend group is pretty evenly matched, which keeps it fun! (though I am an early game target)

I did run the 2 Gargos, Vicious Watcher and it was a really strong addition. I am considering 1 or 2 more.

I swapped out 1 Prey Upon for a Tower Defense to hold up against a MAJOR flying weakeness. Would you recommend another card over that? I may sideboard a Whiptongue Hydra or two. I also really like the idea of Squall Line since it gives even more reason to play Unbound Flourishing. (So expensive!!)

The real difficulty moving on is determining which hydras to focus on. I think Mistcutter Hydra might replace Vastwood Hydra and that Hooded Hydra would be replaced by Voracious Hydra.

Lastly, Feed the Clan is very tempting. Maybe run 1?

I'd love more suggestions based on these ideas/edits!
