Infiltrate

Instant

Target creature is unblockable this turn.

Slip Through Space is a nice upgrade to Infiltrate. At worst you can use it during your turn on an enemy creature as a cantrip and at best it's unblockable which also replaces itself (for the same mana as Infiltrate). And since you're not running any cards that need pitching blue spells, the devoid has no downside.

Hey I took a look at your list and wrote down some potential cuts/additions that you could make. I tried to keep the reasoning for each card short, so if you want me to elaborate on anything just let me know!!

Out: Nether Traitor 2 mana enablers are slow, requires a lot of black mana. In: Faerie Seer only costs 1, sets up top card for yuriko

Out: Shadowmage Infiltrator 3 mana enablers are very slow, doesn't deal combat damage if you ninjutsu it. In: Mothdust Changeling 1 mana ninja with conditional evasion

Out: Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire costs 5 mana total, has to survive a turn to tutor. In: Vampiric Tutor (the only budget option I can think of is Scheming Symmetry, which you already have)

Out: Crypsis too expensive for what is effectively unblockable. In: Cover of Darkness gives some evasion to all of your ninjas (budget option: Aqueous Form)

Out: Dark Ritual powerful card but yuriko doesnt have much use for triple black. In: Mox Amber yuriko enables this on turn 2 or 3 (budget option: Arcane Signet)

Out: Infiltrate. In: Slip Through Space same effect but replaces itself (though I prefer to just play more ninjas than unblockable spells!)

Out: Teferi's Time Twist not great since most of our creatures don't have an etb ability. In: Moon-Circuit Hacker cheap ninja that draws a card

Out: Ultimate Price removal that doesn't hit most commanders isn't ideal. In: Deadly Rollick (budget option: Dismember)

Out: Victim of Night not bad, but black has better removal. In: Infernal Grasp -2 life is pretty negligable in commander

Out: Commander's Sphere 3 mana ramp is quite slow for yuriko decks. In: Chrome Mox (budget option: Dimir Signet)

Out: Isochron Scepter we intentionally play lots of instants with cmc >2. In: Misdirection free "counterspell" that's also budget-friendly

Out: Preordain if you bottom any cards, you can't set up a card for yuriko. In: Ponder works better with yuriko

Out: Enter the Infinite generally uncastable. In: Blinkmoth Infusion also uncastable, but deals 14 damage instead of 12

Hey there Epicurus, this gives me a TON to think about, thank you! I really like the look of AEther Barrier and Sylvan Safekeeper but the shroud part of safekeeper worries me for of course the same reason as Lightning Greaves , and Aether seems a bit risky with my dorks, and things like Giver/ Mother of Runes , etc. However, Stonewood Invocation , Guardian Augmenter , and Ghostly Prison appeal to me greatly, with Swiftfoot Boots coming a close fourth, and I think all most definitely deserve a spot though I'm struggling a bit with the cuts. (By the way I do have Bastion Protector in the deck). Green Sun's Zenith is kind of dumb yeah, it was originally for my dorks and Dryad Arbor but after arbor got cut I kind of forgot about it, and it definitely needs to get out for sure- yet, the deck needs at least one more unblockable spell and I was thinking about cutting it for Infiltrate . Besides this though, I think I can definitely cut Mammoth Growth for Stonewood (Mammoth is a bit slow, especially if you just drew it and need to play it, and the deck relies on speed), leaving Guardian Augmenter and Ghostly Prison for my top scorers, though there are a ton of others you suggested I have to look into. I'll see what I can cut for those. Thank you very much!

What a cool deck! My deck, Double Trouble EDH ⫸PRIMER⫷, functions quite similarly with a lot of ramp and unblockable spells, so I may be able to give you a few tips! First thing, I would recommend playing a bunch more of unblockable spells. 6/100 cards aren't very reassuring, and there are many more of them that could prove useful! Infiltrate, Cloak of Mists, Canopy Cover, and Aether Tunnel are all pretty good as well! If you have the budget, Thassa, God of the Sea could work well in that regard too. I would also consider a bunch of more pump spells and a couple of neat draw spells. One of the best ones in this regard would be Berserk, basically a 1 hit KO, but as that may not be within your budget, I would look through the following: Blossoming Defense, Briar Shield, Groundswell, Hunt the Hunter, Might of Old Krosa, Mutagenic Growth, Seal of Strength, Vines of Vastwood, Favor of the Overbeing, Might of the Nephilim, Phytoburst, Titanic Growth, Invigorate, Might of Oaks, and of course the final two. Hunter's Prowess, and Hunter's Insight. If you have an unblockable spell, you can draw 12+ cards with arixmethes, and if you have some pump spells, that can be WAY more. Pump spells also increase commander damage, letting you reach your goal relatively quicker. While the pump spells aren't necessary, I think the draw spells would work wonderfully. For lands and ramp, I'll try to stick to cheaper things, so I think Exotic Orchard would work really well, since almost everyone nowadays plays in blue/green, and you'd have pretty great chances. As for ramp, I would definitely include Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Simic Signet, Birds of Paradise, Nature's Lore, Three Visits (It will be reprinted in commander legends for less than a dollar), Sylvan Caryatid, Explore, Growth Spiral, Emerald Medallion/Sapphire Medallion, Mark of Sakikoand as for non-budget options, Burgeoning, Exploration, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. I also do not think you really need the "fatties" section, as they don't directly contribute to the gameplan and they seem to be more of a flavorful aspect. Anyways though, be sure to check out some of my decks, hope this helps, and have a wonderful day! Happy tapping!

Hey fun deck. I got an idea or three..Infiltrate, Artful Dodge, Slip Through Space, Shadow Rift, Spellheart Chimera, Runechanter's Pike.... Teferi's Veil + Obliterate is an old school combo that can save your creatures and give you extra ETB triggers. It might not be good enough, but it sounds hilarious enough. Archaeomancer, Izzet Chronarch, Charmbreaker Devils. I love how Sharding Sphinx goes exponential if you can get through with the thopters. It might be cool to have Thopter Spy Network too, since you are already using thopters. Happy gathering!

This deck really benefits from being able to stack the top couple of cards, like Sensei's Divining Top or the cheaper option Soothsaying. These do so much work for me at least, and I recommend cutting Infiltrate for something like Steel of the Godhead. It just overall does more IMO. Good build otherwise!

Hey, thanks for the suggestions :)

The Prophet is in there just for casual games, but would ofc be rotated for something else in a serious environment.

Rogue's Passage is an excellent suggestion, even with the colorless mana downside. Will obtain.

Lightning Greaves... Well, everyone has it, and I'm not much of a fan of shroud, either... :D

Noble Hierarch has been in my sights for ages, but it's a) extremely hard to come by, b) super costly. Maybe one day, though. (Fingers crossed for a non-Vault reprint).

I like your deck, Shane. Completely different take on Rafiq. Very cool! You should consider more cards like Infiltrate or Teleport to really let Rafiq do what he does best :)
