Crazy powerful build turned alllll the way up to 11! Do you own the bombs like Wheel of Fortune in paper?

One cool include I've see is Stormscale Scion make like 5 of him in one go could be powerful!

+1 forsure!

indieinside Indeed, Wheel of Fortune is going to be in the deck eventually. I have replaced it with its cheaper option (budget wise) Reforge the Soul until i can afford it.

All things in consideration, if I do hit the Infinite mana, the mana cost doesn't matter.

Wheel of Fortune should find its way outside of the maybe board. Just saying. I like the combos you have. Personally, if it takes more than two cards to work, it's too much work. I am glad to see you actually playing Gamble. Too many red players are too scared of that card for some silly reason.

Hi Mortlocke thank you for this awesome guide. I'm just getting into EDH and have become obsessed with Silvers! I'm slowly acquiring all the cards and putting together my Silver's deck. I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for this question but could you recommend any replacements for the following cards? I included my thoughts but I have no where near the knowledge of you and this community.

I was thinking the cycle triomes, which would be an even swap of 10 for 10 and can still be fetched.

Much love and thanks for this awesome guide!

MTGBurgeoning on Magar the Horrible

Thanks for commenting! Soooo, no barriers??? Okay, if that's the case, we begin with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Cabal Coffers. The burst black mana production can pay for multiple 1 and B activation costs of Magar. As long as we're upgrading the land base, other considerations include the less costly Fabled Passage, Raucous Theater and Blazemire Verge, the pricier Bloodstained Mire and Prismatic Vista, and the reach-for-the-sky Ancient Tomb and Badlands. As for spells, there aren't too many pricy Magar-friendly spells that I can recommend here, which is one of the great investment advantages of piloting a Magar build. A lot of the most impactful Magar-assisted spells are bulk rares and mythic rares. However, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the overall synergy of the deck by including Jeska's Will and Demonic Tutor. Those two cards would make Magar very, very happy. One less costly spell that I want to add is Call Forth the Tempest, but a copy has not crossed my path yet. Another consideration, although I do not recommend it, is Wheel of Fortune. I do not recommend it because I prefer to NOT put so many additional cards in the hands of my opponents, regardless of how much it may wreck in-game and in-the-moment strategies by opponents. Aside from these Magar-friendly cards, the only other cards I would offer as considerations are support cards like Bone Miser, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick. Once you complete your build, I would LOVE to see what you have! Happy brewing!!

Kjacobson6800 on Kaalia, Queen of the Vast

Cool Build. I have a pretty mean Kaalia myself but its rather competitive. Yours looks fun to play I just tested it a few times. Love the Sneak Attack as a backup. Feel free to take a look at mine if you'd like. My only real suggestions after seeing your maybe list is to tune the creatures a bit more and sell that Alpha/Beta D-Tutor ... buy a Chrome Mox. Would leave you with a few $$ to really deck this thing out. Id also be running all 3 Talismans. A revised Demonic tutor is Rather affordable. I run Gamble Demonic Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Grim Tutor, And Imperial Seal. More tutors and maybe Steelshaper's Gift to get the Greaves out fast. Diabolic Tutor works just fine to go get an Avacyn or something and get the whole table salty Lotus Petal is clutch too and chronically slept on IMO, especially when it comes to Kaalia... Im pretty sure Jeweled Lotus is banned in EDH now so maybe let that one go too. Necropotence is stupid good in a Kaalia deck, especially if you can get a Reliquary Tower out. As soon as i focused more on tutors, mana rocks, and a few board-wipes Wrath of God Day of Judgment Damn She started going off quick and dirty.Sensei's Divining Top is super helpful too. I wouldn't sleep on Dark Ritual if you're short a Jeska's Will. I slip a Dark Rit in mine from time to time depending on where I'm playing. I also run Armageddon and Catastrophe. Sometimes Winter Orb ...locks everyone down once I have Her out. I Cant tell you how many times Steel Hellkite has won the game for me. Blows up all dorks and keeps opponents rocks at bay. Plus you can grab him with Enlightened tutor. Dragon Mage could work in this to help load up youre Kaalia drops without needing a Wheel of Fortune Solid build!! Ive been tuning mine for years now.

YamishiTheWickedOne on What is a Man? (a hyper aggro Edgar Markov EDH)

@Vessiliana I'm tryng to find a good balance at this point. I feel like lots of small creatures need draw power so I think Wheel of Fortune should go back in. Sorin, Altar, Ripper and Citadel are the cards I'm on the fence about. I want to run the 1-drops that I know work in an aggressive Edgar build, those being Noble, Aristocrat, Neonate, Master of Dark rites, Denizen, Viscera Seer, and add back in Pit fighter, Changeling Outcast, and Cutthroat. I'm uncertain about Goblin Bombardment at this point but it plays well into the sacrifice aspect of the deck.

What would you do? more cheap footsoldiers or keep a few big wincons? And what changes would you make?

Jund_Machinist on Breya, Doomsday Dominatrix

The main lines for the deck seem to be to either keep the Doomsdayfoil tech in or go with Underworld Breachfoil and a package that supports it. Cards I'm looking at include:

Brain Freeze to combo with Underworld Breachfoil and Lion's Eye Diamond, plus Wheel of Fortune etc.

Sevinne's Reclamation since it allows Intuition to directly tutor the previous combo in regardless of choice with Sevinne's, Underworld Breachfoil and Lion's Eye Diamond.

Final Fortunefoil seems really powerful.

Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker stronk.

Draw dorks: Ledger Shredder, Faerie Mastermind, Esper Sentinel, also Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff.

For more protection, Ranger-Captain of Eosfoil and Orcish Bowmasters

Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer seems meh unless in your opener.

Smothering Tithe cool, but 4 mana.

An Offer You Can't Refuse, Strix Serenade, Minor Misstep, Mindbreak Trapfoil, Dress Down
