Kaalia, Queen of the Vast
Cool Build. I have a pretty mean Kaalia myself but its rather competitive. Yours looks fun to play I just tested it a few times. Love the Sneak Attack as a backup. Feel free to take a look at mine if you'd like. My only real suggestions after seeing your maybe list is to tune the creatures a bit more and sell that Alpha/Beta D-Tutor ... buy a Chrome Mox. Would leave you with a few $$ to really deck this thing out. Id also be running all 3 Talismans. A revised Demonic tutor is Rather affordable. I run Gamble Demonic Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Grim Tutor, And Imperial Seal. More tutors and maybe Steelshaper's Gift to get the Greaves out fast. Diabolic Tutor works just fine to go get an Avacyn or something and get the whole table salty Lotus Petal is clutch too and chronically slept on IMO, especially when it comes to Kaalia... Im pretty sure Jeweled Lotus is banned in EDH now so maybe let that one go too. Necropotence is stupid good in a Kaalia deck, especially if you can get a Reliquary Tower out. As soon as i focused more on tutors, mana rocks, and a few board-wipes Wrath of God Day of Judgment Damn She started going off quick and dirty.Sensei's Divining Top is super helpful too. I wouldn't sleep on Dark Ritual if you're short a Jeska's Will. I slip a Dark Rit in mine from time to time depending on where I'm playing. I also run Armageddon and Catastrophe. Sometimes Winter Orb ...locks everyone down once I have Her out. I Cant tell you how many times Steel Hellkite has won the game for me. Blows up all dorks and keeps opponents rocks at bay. Plus you can grab him with Enlightened tutor. Dragon Mage could work in this to help load up youre Kaalia drops without needing a Wheel of Fortune Solid build!! Ive been tuning mine for years now.

@Vessiliana I'm tryng to find a good balance at this point. I feel like lots of small creatures need draw power so I think Wheel of Fortune should go back in. Sorin, Altar, Ripper and Citadel are the cards I'm on the fence about. I want to run the 1-drops that I know work in an aggressive Edgar build, those being Noble, Aristocrat, Neonate, Master of Dark rites, Denizen, Viscera Seer, and add back in Pit fighter, Changeling Outcast, and Cutthroat. I'm uncertain about Goblin Bombardment at this point but it plays well into the sacrifice aspect of the deck.
What would you do? more cheap footsoldiers or keep a few big wincons? And what changes would you make?

Breya, Doomsday Dominatrix

The main lines for the deck seem to be to either keep the Doomsday tech in or go with Underworld Breach
and a package that supports it. Cards I'm looking at include:
Brain Freeze to combo with Underworld Breach and Lion's Eye Diamond, plus Wheel of Fortune etc.
Sevinne's Reclamation since it allows Intuition to directly tutor the previous combo in regardless of choice with Sevinne's, Underworld Breach and Lion's Eye Diamond.
Final Fortune seems really powerful.
Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker stronk.
Draw dorks: Ledger Shredder, Faerie Mastermind, Esper Sentinel, also Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff.
For more protection, Ranger-Captain of Eos and Orcish Bowmasters
Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer seems meh unless in your opener.
Smothering Tithe cool, but 4 mana.
An Offer You Can't Refuse, Strix Serenade, Minor Misstep, Mindbreak Trap, Dress Down

Yesternight I went to my LGS's free-play commander event. It had been a while and I was looking forward to it. In the second round with a lovely group, I played my Bladewing the Risen deck, an old and reliable favourite.
It was a slow start for us all; I did some discarding and then cast a Wheel of Fortune. Because I was against three green opponents, I was disappointed when the only dragon I drew was a Hellkite Tyrant. There were no artifacts as far as I could tell. But then I noticed something.
The wheel had drawn a foe into an Ygra, Eater of All. Everything was food and everything was dying, so it quickly became massive. But I had a beautiful Hellkite Tyrant, which was soon wearing Greaves, which had soon granted me control of all of their food creatures.
On a previous night with the same deck, an opponent had resolved a Possibility Storm, so I began casting Rummaging Goblins with the hope of hitting Utvara Hellkites.
Magic has innumerable interactions that each recontextualize the game-state, sometimes to the degree of utterly unforeseen terrain.
Do you have any stories of your deck doing something you had never designed it to do? Maybe it operated off a card you included for another purpose entirely, or maybe your opponent cast a Dream Halls and you popped off to new heights. Tell your tales!

What is a Man? (a hyper aggro Edgar Markov EDH)

So, quick revisions log;
Out:
Mirror Entity (love this card but my strategy has evolved a little and late game huge mana dumps could just be going to more vamps as I have more draw power now)
Rakish Heir (He was just okay in a deck where 3 mana cards are mostly game-changing)
Cover of Darkness and Reconnaissance (Quite useful, but I've started to prefer brute force and anthem buffs over blanket evasion)
In:
Sorin of House Markov Flip (Not 100% sold on him but I'm trying out some new toys and he seems rather popular, just wish he were a vampire)
Chthonian Nightmare (reusable recursion, low cost, yes please. Suits sacrifice combos very nicely)
Fell the Profane Flip (33rd land, killspell if I need it)
Wheel of Fortune (I finally got one and frankly I like it much more than Pact of the Serpent)
@Vessiliana your thoughts? Decided to bring back Phyrexian Altar given it's possibly the best combo piece if I want to spam Clavileno's demons.

Finally got my hands on a Wheel of Fortune. I know I've been a big proponent of Mirror Entity but somehow even with my increased access to ramp he just isn't as explosive as he was in previous iterations of the build, so he goes in maybeboard for now. 3 cmc for 3 cmc. Though I'd love to have an even 40 creatures, I wanted one more way to refresh resources. This deck has a tendency to play my entire hand pretty quickly due to having so many 1-2 mana cards and ways to ramp out 3 cmc creatures early.

Wizard tribal Big X spells

Ahh yes, Wizard tribal. Amazing. Here's some cards to tutor, draw & ramp your way to victory with:
Mystical Tutor, Personal Tutor, Solve the Equation, Gamble, Fervent Mastery & Vedalken AEthermage are worth considering as tutors here imo. Most of the other tutors in this color combo are Artifact tutors like Fabricate, Reshape & Reckless Handling...which I suppose could end up playing into a revamped strategy here as the deck develops, who knows?
For draw, Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune (& Wheel of Fortune if you're cut like that), Tolarian Winds, & Decaying Time Loop are all great with this commander. Cantrips like Ponder & Brainstorm should probably make the cut as well, it's hard to top that value for 1 mana.
As far as ramp, I always try to roll with at least 10 mana rocks, a handful of rituals & perhaps a few cost reducers when I'm within , depending on the your deck's mana curve. I know that sounds extreme, but I swear it makes your deck awesome, especially the more it develops. As the quality of each card goes up over time, consistent ramp becomes more and more important.
Also, some combo pieces to pair with Dualcaster Mage wouldn't hurt either. Twinflame, Heat Shimmer & Ghostly Flicker all work, the former 2 are definitely more synergistic with your current list though.
I could yap about various bangers for this commander like Bribery & Acquire all day, but I'll stop here unless you request more.
Lastly, a bit of bad news...Vadrik, Astral Archmage is the best commander for big X spells lol, he's insane. I might even say that he's the best one in that color combo in general.
Cheers!

Some of the below potential cuts are worse than others. Just want to provide you with a broader list so you can remove whichever you feel is least impactful....
- Angelic Arbiter - Not incredibly impactful/damaging. It's nice but not needed
- Aurelia, the Law Above - I get you need draw but it's too conditional
- Drakuseth, Maw of Flames - I actually like him, but he doesn't trigger with Kalia so it requires him to live a turn cycle
- Gisela, the Broken Blade - I get the potential with Bruna but itself isn't enough to justify Kalia bringing it into play
- Liesa, Forgotten Archangel - Recursion and exile are nice but not needed IMO. The question you want to ask yourself is, will this card help my game plan (making people miserable)?
- Rodolf Duskbringer - Can bring back a loyal retainers or other 4cmc cards but isn't much of a threat itself. This and the above card really depend on how much recursion you want but since you're playing black you can just use reanimate
- Terror of the Peaks - Doesn't trigger on itself
- Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire - Black has better tutors.
I think more draw in favor of lantern is great, although a suggestion escapes me at this moment as Mardu is not within my wheel_house so to speak. That being said, _maybe a Wheel of Fortune or a Syphon Mind?
