Creature (1)

Maybeboard

This is my attempt at a Zirilan of the Claw deck that tries to beat face as fast as possible and even thoug it can work as a toolbox, there are enough dragons to assume a very aggressive stance.

Some very important considerations about the deck: well, first of all this is a new and, due to work commitments, an underplayed deck that needs a lot of testing. Its also a budget deck (keep that in mind when considering your suggestions, please).

The little testing it endured showed me a fun deck that had some problems (I hope that the latest updates went a step closer to getting those solved): I believe that it works better in small environments with few opponents or where there's a set order to attack (2 opponent games, hunter/prey or start formats). This is something that needs to be addressed since the deck tends to be slow on the defense (looking for easy ways to untap my commander). Other than that I saw myself drawing too many dragons, clogging my hands with unplayable cards (I did cut the dragon count slightly and added some loot options to try and solve this out). It also tends to be very mana-ungry (added a few more mana rocks).

Cards I'm now considering adding include Heartstone and Thornbite Staff .

As for the deck as is, you'll find some interesting interactions:

Sundial of the Infinite + Zirilan of the Claw / Feldon of the Third Path / Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker - the Sundial is brutal in this kind of decks since it allows you to keep the dragons/tokens if you know how to use the stack

Altar of Dementia / Ashnod's Altar / Claws of Gix / Goblin Bombardment + Elixir of Immortality / Reito Lantern / Soldevi Digger - sacrifice your dragons before they get exiled and then put them back into your library and repeat Zirilan's tutoring abilities. Tel-Jilad Stylus also allows reusing your dragons!

Illusionist's Bracers / Magewright's Stone / Thousand-Year Elixir + Zirilan of the Claw - this deck tries to be aggressive and getting more dragons per turn manages that quite well

Apocalypse + Worldgorger Dragon - tutoring for Worldgorger Dragon while Apocalypse is on the stack should be a winning play. How many players can come back after their board has been wholy wipped out when facing dragons? If all that was done after combat and Knollspine Dragon was on the field you'll now have a full hand, blowing hard on Apocalypse's drawback!

Worldgorger Dragon + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle - this is one very aggressive play with at least 6 Mountains in play. Double the damage with Vesuva for maximum effect.

Arcane Lighthouse paired up with any of the "burning" dragons - when facing blue/X decks many times there are some very pesky creatures that tend to be quite hard to kill and the Lighthouse can solve that out in a pinch

This deck's commander follows the Power Level classification found here: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/list-multiplayer-edh-generals-by-tier/?fbclid=IwAR1sF4UjmEP0qF2bLYrN_tYm5pU0q9I2fGYViT0Tv9aHAObSmSa9idcIDoM.
